Wow. Sonny T and Joe Dart on stage together playing Dean Town with a band as tight as Cory's. This has got to be one of the all time greatest ever bass moments.
It's not even just Dean Town or all of their mad skills, it's also just the energy they give off when they all play together, it's so infectious and fun. They look like they're having such a good time and it's half the reason I do too.
...and more Mandolin! This is straight fire, but after hearing Vulf play this with Thiele I KNOW how fire that mandolin can be on this song. Can't even hear Sierra here.
The heads pf the two basses point at each other closing the loop of toroidal infinite energy circulation resulting in funk overload inside the auras of the listeners. Such intense energy fields can be harmful for the uninitiated which is why I'm happy for audience who are soaking it all up evidently without any side effects.
This guy has the neck dexterity of the real thing, and the chops. But where are the glasses? I think we may have an Avril Livigne situation going on here... lol
I know Joe talked in an interview about how he's a bass specialist and doesn't know any other instruments... Just gotta say, Joe please keep with the bass. You just keep getting better and better.
I loved this but I got a little annoyed. Joe's tone is so pure and it was overpowered by the other bass an octave up with such high treble :/ Great performance, though!
