Jovita, you aren’t a grandmother. You are a RU-vidr who first spoke about actives, foundation and concealer shades, and stood firmly against fairness and whitening gimmicky creams and dry lipstick formulas. In fact products like Lakmé never knew about inclusivity. You bring so much knowledge about skin care that today’s generation knows so much about ingredients in a skin care. Cosmo, you must stop this hypocrisy and consider all the regions in india please

I literally scanned the whole nomination list for your and Shreya Jain’s name. The Cosmo awards have their own version of nepo babies that are nominated year after year. There is no inclusivity here. I was so excited to Mridul Sharma’s name. A really hardworking girl that posts great content REGULARLY but obviously she didn’t win. It’s about time some other brands starts an all-inclusive influencer awards.

Thank you for calling this out. This also extends to their non-inclusivity towards Indian Hijabi RU-vidrs. There is no Representation for Hijabi people at all! We've got all KINDS of "diversity" they say, but then a MAJOR chunk of India's population is not seen. Calling them out is the need of the hour.

I started watching you when I was 14 (nearly 9 years now) because you were the only person on RU-vid that was A) South Indian B) Dark skinned. There has always been that 'South' bias from Delhi/Bombay crowd - typical bubble, echo chamber types - I still meet people today in 2023 that are like 'so like Telugu and Tamil are they like... different languages or..?' I've observed a similar situation in Kerala, where only a select number of people from a given economic bracket are invited to the most exclusive social gatherings, which simply serve to highlight a select group of influential people from wealthy backgrounds. . Another factor people differentiate is based on the skin colour. Fair and rich and you are good to rule the influencer market in Kerala

You deserve it Jovi . You deserve all the appreciation more than anyone. I still don't get how these new comers get so much praise for their shitty content. They don't even have the skills or the experience when it comes to beauty and skincare. You are so good at it. All they do is copy paste content and post the same content on every platform . O finally I saw this video! Dude I'm just a budding RU-vidr but I have been following Cosmo Awards from past few years. I had the same thought this year! I mean why they have the same set of poeple every year. And there are so many Creators like you who are doing much better and are adding value to the platform. Actually I've only seen vloggers/creators or influencers only from Mumbai Delhi. Not just Cosmo but events too. Thanks for sharing!

I dnt think u need any awards to accomplish ur work.. u r doing good specially products reviews and actives reviews are very helpful and this is very true most of the awards go to those people who pay for it or have some good connections .Recently a tamil music got recognition ,but we all know there are lots of songs which are better than this. keep growing girl..lots of love from kolkata.
