I've been an American supporter for going on 17 years now. When the Cowboys bought the club, I felt really sick about it because we all knew what kind of men they were. I don't speak for all Americans, but I always felt a tinge of guilt for Hicks unfairly representing our country. Thank God for the Spirit of Shankly along with The Kop Faithful for working on all our behalf. Just belatedly finished Brian Reade's book and was nice to have some of the gaps filled in. Investors know that english football fans are "stupid" - They support their club with passion despite the fact that they dislike the leadership of the club. So protesting but still paying every silly price they ask of you wont lead to "change".
I remember when my family was repeatedly raped over a long period of time. It was harrowing. Just like when my team wasn't doing too well. Those two things are totally equal in terms of the amount of anguish it caused me. What an over dramatic tosser.

If you really cared about your club you would do everything in your power to get the Glazers out like we did with Hicks & Gillette. BTW i am a yank from the states that is a liverpool supporter..and the NEW american ownser from the New england sports company are actually doing very well right now..so dont hate on American Business men that buy up EPL teams..its a global brand to own a historic EPL team..what gillete and hicks didnt understand when they got into this venture is that liverpool has history and they didnt spend any of their own money to improve the team..they just borrowed on top of it to get torress

@bluegrinder84 You asking a question or pissing off LFC supporters. Your first comment made it look like we are over exaggerating and it's not a big deal. Hicks & Gillete were bankrupting the club, made promises that were lies, taking money for themselves, put us in debt, caused problems for the manager. Hodgson, not the fans choice but he got the support, during his regn of terror, blasted nearly everybody at the club & other managers, never defends his players, got us in the relegation zone.
