I've been through something similar and I would tell that you should never tell any of the parents if you've caught them, I did this when I was 16, and it was the biggest mistake of my life. My happy, peaceful family got broke, our house got sold, everyone got seperated, my little sister got away from me and one of my parent is in depression. You should never interfere in this. I made a mistake, and I still regret it to my core. Made my life a huge mess. Still trying to recover from it, I hope I make it out of this.

It is not your mistake agar tum nahi v batate to kabhi na kabhi pata chal hi jaata Sach kabhi nahi chupta hai and situations tab v aise ho jate it's your parents mistake who cheated they should have considered the impact on family after getting caught

At the age of 15, children usually come to know about relationships... When a child witness some casual meeting of other gender by their father or mother, it make them really possesive and immediately thinks of an "affair" which may not be that kind most of the times... So I really want "flower" to think twice about what she has witnessed, and should consider any other family friend who is elder enough to understand the exact situation.

Flower....there is one more scenario....may be ur mother knows this and she is already keeping shut and may be u dont know this that she already knows....what i think is u should also keep this within you...just wait and see what happens next...u r too young to understand these adult relations i feel...sometimes they r a bit complicated...what we see in our parents relations and how they both look at it sooo different i cant explain...i have seen many such relations i can assure u this...many times wives just behave as if nothing happened and they live their lives together peacefully...just wait for some more time and see then only take any decision because this will impact ur life and ur relation with both ur father and mother immensely...take care😊😊

You should let your mother know, but dont be the source of the information. Tell an adult you trust the most and let them tell your mom. It could be your elder cousin or aunty or any other relative.

Dii I want to highlight this one problem that therapists and psychologists aren't that easily accessible to teenagers, either due to financial reasons or due to stigma attached and they can't let parents know about it, it's only available in quite a few schools and colleges, What to do in such conditions? Specially for a college student and hostelite where they've to barely manage with the money they get from home, It's just not possible to pay around 1k for a session! How do we access therapy easily?

This is a very real problem. To add to that, not all therapists are good. The mental health care system definitely needs a lot of improvement.

I believe you should not tell your mom... I know a friend who informed her mother and still the father started blaming the mother itself and intitialy they blocked the other person and all... But still he is connected to her... It's not a happy place to be

Dear flower I think you should tell your mother about women's rights, importance of financial independence and etc in a casual way and try to convince her to get a job or maybe you both can start your own small business and after some months you tell her about your father's affair then give her the opportunity to stand for herself

Flower, It may also affect your relationship with your father, if you tell your mom. And What if you father is actually not cheating on your mom? I am not defending your father, but you got to know about it through a friend, so you also need to consider this as well.

Currently im in the same situation and im confused if should tell to my Mom or not. I just hate my father.. couldn't believe that he is cheating. I stopped talking to him. One day he arguing with my mom over a small thing and listening to all his bullshit my feelings got busted...i warned him not to argue with mom over small things... privately i asked him about that lady he is cheating with and he said 'Do you have PROOF ' . I'm so dumb that i should i have taken screenshot of his whatsapp chat...but i haven't done it....i thought not to share this. But i couldn't help it...i couldn't keep all this in my heart...day by day hatred towards my father is increasing and my mental health is destroyed...there are day where i couldn't control my tears and the inner voices in my head...

tell your mother about it. she deserves to know. don't support your father hurting your mother. be there for your mother, get a part time job or freelance if you are old enough for it, and encourage your mother to get away from him too. your mother needs you.

Another scenario can be this, what if the father is actually meeting a female colleague, a cousin or a friend and your mom knows about it then? Flower you need to have a solid proof about this as firstly, you are 15 yrs old- you may or may not be aware that two people of the opposite gender can be friends too. Secondly, do you really believe a friend who is as unaware of relationships as you are? You need to talk to a school counsellor or any trusted adult if possible.

Majority of the women marry only after checking the money of their husband….even by comparing the packages ,salary of the boys ………that husband is rich he knows his wife only wants money….wife will not have any problem jab tak she is getting money for her luxuries....I may sound insensitive but it’s a fact…..Feel sad for the 15 year old kid😞😞

He is saying his opinion and its valid ? Dont men look for a house wife who can cook clean maintain family peace etc as well ?? Both of them look and compare everything that they could and choose . So stop supporting irrelevant and one sided opinions . Also if his comment his about men cheating because women marrying them for money would you say the same about women cheating whom men marry solely for fulfilling societal expectations or someone who can take care of his home and parents ? Does that give women the right to cheat because she is taking care of his home . Think before you speak
