If Strymon created one pedal with the trifecta, I would most likely buy it! 6:36

Good ideas for how Strymon can enhance and provide more features for new products. An all in one strymon pedal even if super expensive would be a best seller.

Put the Timeline, Big Sky, and Mobius in one pedal, with modern functionality, offer it in black, and I’ll be the first one in line with a preorder. I’d like to see some new algorithms, and maybe some updated ones.

I think the “stry-fecta” all in one pedal makes the most sense here- both for customer and for company. Unless revamping new versions of these is easier than I’m guessing- which I doubt. Since the V2’s of their standard size pedals came out I’ve been very curious about this subject- thanks for putting it out here👍

I feel I don't need next big sky as it is complete. (I rarely say that) But for timeline I'm not happy with. So I move to Volante.

I haven't tried the Volante but it seems really cool.

@@sundaytone Man, try that Volante with midi to control preset, you will open another world. I mean, this pedal is something else. It make your simple note sounds heaven.

you basically want 3 HX Stomps with Strymon algorithms :P

I would like to see them release more pedals in the new "Cloudburst" smaller form factor. I think that would be a very popular and easier gateway for people to get Strymon products.

I love my Cloudburst, but am disappointed with the MIDI connectivity. I wish you could terminate and pass PG's at the same time. It does not work that way (that I can figure out). The Volante is a little bit that way too it seems. I can set presets though which is in itself excellent to have. (300!).

Great channel, keep it going! This is just me personally, but I'm not interested in a V2 Strymon Timeline, because it's too big and too pricey. Where I live in Canada, it costs $696.08 (incl. taxes); that is ridiculously expensive. I also need to keep a fairly compact pedal board for a number of reasons. So, I would be interested in either a Jet Pedals Eternity or Alexander Pedals Rewind, which are on par in terms of fidelity (IMO), have a sufficient # of algorithms which can be stacked (e.g. dual delay) along with tap tempo and sufficient # of presets within a regular sized enclosure, at half the cost.

UA Starlight is very good also. And Golden. They are little powerhouses. I use them next to Timeline and Bigsky.
@sundaytone
@sundaytone Год назад
Yea that is expensive! The Eternity is great if you don’t want all of the extra stuff that comes in a large pedal like the TimeLine.

We all know Strymon is making tons on their current lines. I asked their customer support numerous times to even have a reverb and delay combined pedal. Not nearly as many people like the Mobius as they do the big sky timeline combo. But instead they take one large pedal and use one algorithm to sell. I laughed so hard when they separated the cloud into one reverb. So, instead of combining pedals they are actually separating. It’s such a scheme. They know their algorithms are so great that they can get people to spend despite the downsides. I agree they could combine one large pedal but it wouldn’t be $900. It would probably be $2,500-$3,000. If they could capture all their sounds into one pedal I would be all in. It could even be like Nord where you buy the one large pedal and then add and take which algorithms you need so you don’t bog down your DSP. Some people would rather have more presets than algorithms they don’t use. They could even have a really large one for the guy or girl that wants it all and tons of presets. They could also let folks subscribe to be able to have constant updates etc. but no Strymon just wants to make the same old pedals and actually trick folks into buying only one algorithm at a time.

I’m not paying more than $440 for a timeline v2 when the Starlight is higher fidelity delay, and the DD-500 is $40 cheaper and can do more than it. Also don’t make a v2 without fixing the The Global parameters.

Don't like the combining of pedals. The reason I don't get an H90 or a similar pedal is that they're simply too complex. They just feel overwhelming. I want it to be easy to use and not require a bunch of learning and trial and error. Keep it simple! Just give me a Mobius with a better display that shows current settings better.
