Aug. 1 marks one month since Priority Waste took over service for 73 community GFL contracts. Since then, complaints have been rolling in from across the state of Michigan.
I want to know why the city is not collecting any income on the recycles that I gave them and why I'm not getting a discount and why I'm paying excessive prices more than the water and then I have to hear about these reports and stupid studies that point out my household is less efficient than all of my Neighbors who have 18 garbage cans a week.😅😅❤

You gonna work like a CIRCUS MONKEY, making circus peanuts when rent is like 2,000 a month to never own your own home, your paying mega corporations to just live weeks at a time. all they got to do is work their lazy employs more hours, run them trucks !! you got trucks down, then go buy more ! you clearly don't know business always have back up trucks / equipment so if something goes down you are covered. Work spikes up for a holiday or event, get them back up trucks/equipment on the road so its not that bad.
It’s August 11th and they’re still behind. My trash day is Friday and they just came and got it today (Sunday). Last week I don’t think they got it until the following Tuesday. Priority can blame it on GFL all they want but the fact of the matter is that GFL always came and picked the trash up on time..
In business a monopoly is a situation in which a single company or group owns all or nearly all of the market for a given type of product or service. Without any meaningful competition, monopolies are usually quite profitable. Priority waste is a monopoly if I ever seen one, fits the definition to a T at least here locally in Michigan.

What disaster was left by GFL? In the 5 years I've been back living Dearborn the trash pickup on my street has been very regular. Now I know why I heard trash trucks go down my street yesterday, a Sunday. This new company didn't have its sh!t together.
I like community jokes just citizens it's their fault that they have token away their own responsibility and hired outsiders when we pay taxes they can buy a truck with but they don't want to accept the responsibility and we'll blame it on somebody else and you got to get away with it because you're giving excuse that they are being a hero when they already dilapidated the responsibilities and adopt on someone else.
