Death Battle! "Cole MacGrath vs Alex Mercer (Infamous VS Prototype)" REACTION!! 

Hopefully they remake these games with better graphics and controls so we can experience it better!

1. Its so fitting that this battle felt like one between a superhero and a supervillain. 2. The saddest part id that if Alex had enocuntered someone like Cole, he might have been able to work through his nihilism. 3. We NEED remakes or at least modern remasters of these games.

Dontai actually recently played Infamous 1 and 2 and he LOVED them. He and chat were even saying the evil ending for the second one (where Cole took the Beast's powers) seemed like something straight out of Attack on Titan with how emotional and dark it was. He's going to play Second Son soon

If it was Evil Cole the fight would have been a one shot because Evil Cole has an attack call Ionic Absorption which absorbs everything to the point the victim turns to ash.

Would HIGHLY recommend playing Prototype and the older inFAMOUS games. They were so much fun, and this Death Battle was a dream come true to people who played them back in the day.

Anyone else think Cole MacGrath (Infamous) and Alex Mercer (Prototype) would be wicked to see and play in Mortal Kombat?

Infamous started with Cole acquiring his powers and ended with him defeating Kessler and learning about the Beast. Infamous 2 began with the Beast destroying Empire City and ended with Cole either sacrificing himself and all other Conduits to save the world, or becoming the Beast and saving the Conduits at the cost of the rest of humanity.

Prototype is an amazing game! 100% would love to see a playthrough of that!

Infamous is a series that is near and dear to my heart, so this Death Battle was a dream come true to me. As with many I wish that it could be remade or remastered to current gen consoles.

I've played these games and hope they remastered them. Can't wait for the next reaction death battle video to come out.

Prototype is actually pretty easy to get into nowadays since both games are on Steam and the PS Store. The Cole games are sadly stuck on PS3. They really need a remaster some day.

So, Alex Mercer isn't actually dead in Prototype 2, instead, He's still alive because James Mercer hadn't absorbed Alex Mercer's arms into his being, so yeah, also in the game, it was stated that Alex Mercer would still be alive no matter what James Heller had done to him, so yeah, but I do believe that Alex Mercer could have actually won this, but great video and keep up the amazing work as always!

So fun fact, after Prototype 2, the company who produced this series, went into bankrupcy a few years after. Hence why there haven't been any reboots since the 2nd one. Imo, one of my favorite titles for the playstation 3 by far. Imagine you're the hulk, spiderman, wolverine, and watchdogs all in 1 game.

Infamous one and two was amazing. I am a huge infamous fan boy growing up from 2010 to 2016 and I can trust you infamous one and two is not regrettable. Both has amazing stories.

Both games are really impressive that they being the best “Comic Book Video Game” that brings chills on the back. Till watching this DB making me want to take out my PS3 to play the games back again 😁 I hope Sucker Punch make a comeback with a remaster of Infamous 1 and 2 with DLC included. As both game are amazing to play again with higher quality graphics and make the room light up with the powers of Cole’s. It’s quite sad for Prototype series as we never going to get a remastered version of those games since the Game company sadly shut down or possibly lost their business since they was know for doing Tony Hawk Games to Prototype series. So we might never see it coming back again, but you can still play it on “Game Plus” or if it’s on Steam, you can play it at its OG look.

I won't lie, I absolutely CHEERED in victory for Cole defeating Alex in this epic superhero vs supervillain battle. Which brings me to my biggest reaction thing I'd like everyone to think about for a second. MHA students and teachers reacting to THIS Death Battle: Cole Macgrath vs Alex Mercer for three important reasons, hear me out. 1: Something like this would appeal to them greatly, as heroes themselves or heroes in training. Especially those like Denki who's quirk is electricity focused. 2: I want to see how their views on Cole are, considering what he did to be earned the hero title DID stop the Beast from bringing the apocalypse to the world, but in doing so killed THOUSANDS of people who was basically quirk users to do it, in order to save humanity who out numbered them at the time. It would surely be a hard pill to swallow for them and I feel it'd give them a bit of a wake up call to the shades of grey that exists in the world which could lead to some character development, you know? Looking at you fellow fanfic writers who know MHA FAR better than me! Personally, I view Cole as an Anti Hero that is borderline hero. One that is sometimes forced to make the hard decisions that Heroes wouldn't be able to do in most cases. 3: I feel this would be especially interesting to see how Izuku and All Might view this fight as Cole fights a villain who reminds them all too much of All For One, in the form of Alex Mercer. A broken hero turned villain when humanity betrayed him over and over again to the point he not only gave up on humanity, but wanted to make them better into his own image. But that's just me, what do YOU ALL think of this idea?

All I'm going to be honest and say why this video still-fresh is that I'm glad and happy that this was a true badass death battle fight in my boy Cole is the winner in the battle because the Infamous games with a true badass beyond comprehension

yeah both stories for the games was a lot to condense to fully understand, but you guys should definitely play both game series. I remember playing the first Prototype game and getting freaked out at everything since I was still young when I had got it. Then got better at playing it and was enjoying myself. Though I do remember that I was playing the game through the whole story without upgrading any of my skills and it wasn't on purpose I just forgot that you could upgrade your skills in the game. So by the time I was half-way or quarter done with the entire game I had hit the select button and it took me to my skills screen and noticed I had a TON of XP saved up from not being used the whole time I was playing and smacked my face in exasperation. I was struggling against the hunters in that game and the supreme hunter and other bosses cause all I had was the claws and saw at the time since both of those you get through story missions. And both were not upgraded so they I was just running around sparsely equipped. So when I found out/remembered I could upgrade my skills, I had nearly enough saved up XP to unlock everything available.

Redlight, the previous variant of Blacklight also goes through the same situation Blacklight does which is taking over its host Elizabeth Greene and is why the woman says to Blacklight "I am your mother", the Elizabeth we see & meet doesn't act human especially when talking to Blacklight.

I played Prototype non stop back in high school in the Xbox 360 era. I highly recommend it.

Infamous Second Son is sequel not a remake. Delsin's story takes years after Cole's & due to Delsin being able to have multiple conduit abilities he's the second son while Cole's the first. Also Delsin & Joel from Last Of Us are voiced by Troy Baker who was in the show while Fetch(Neon Conduit) & Abby from The Last Of Us are also both voiced by Laura Bailey who also appears in the show.

Love you guys as always 💚💙💛❤️ Trust me, you guys, that Megatron in the comics is a whole different level depending on how much you know about Transformers. They are not the same strength and etc for majority of their variants. Both him and Optimus Prime (specifically my buddy, Optimus) from the IDW Comis by themselves individually would one shot everyone in anime and etc. Even more so if it is their Alterninity variants. This depends on how much research Death Battle does and if they do ot right, Frieza has no chance. Including his new form. I'm a hardcore fan on both and I am extremely knowledgeable on both also, although I love both, I love Transformers a lot more (I will never hold no bais) they are better than Dragon Ball, though. But if it is IDW Comics they are using... goodbye Frieza.

Yeah this was a pretty good Death Battle. I don't know how Frieza and Megatron is even close in battle considering Frieza can casually destroy planets and would have no qualms about doing it in the heat of battle.
