The concept of a monster like Doomsday is so cool. It really is "What DOES kill you only makes you stronger." It's a very interesting take on gaining power
Doomsday is basically a hero anime character but done villain style. Since anime heroes have to keep getting stronger to beat tougher villains 🤔 hopefully that made sense 🤗
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitive2 I can see that yea. Though in anime it's usually the power of family and friendship and not some scientist throwing a baby into the wild. 😂
The interesting thing about the friend of Bruce banner is that in the recent immortal hulk comics it turns out he was always the one to protect bruce he was the guardian and he kept the others at bay seeing how bruce has more than one personalities and the guardian was the one who loved bruce more than he ever thought because according to the Immortal hulk he said' I love you stupid kid someone had to'.
To date, this is one of the most brutal deaths ever animated on this show. Not just the slow, painful onslaught of the rapid stabbings, but the fact Hulk's healing factor only served to just keep him alive just enough to make the process longer, then for his opponent go on and hammer in the fact he failed to save everyone, and telling him his name before meeting his end... "DOOM" ....before finally finishing it not with a clean decapitation, but pulling off his head in what could only be thought of an agonizing process.
Doomsday actually had a rare power on his side too. He has the rare ability of extremely fast self evolution meaning if anything is used once on him it literally can't be used again even in mid attack. he evolved instant healing from getting beat on, fire immunity from getting plunged into kypton's star, Instant movement from fighting the flash, cold immunity from years of the ice age of Kryton, Impenetrable natural armor from fights from all sorts of things. you literally can not surprise him with anything even the Phantom zone he literally tore open simply by tearing a hole between dimensions, a black hole can't even hold this guy. he even evolved counter measures against black carney and her legendary cry. even radiation is worthless against doomsday. there is literally nothing you can do. The justice league only manages to win by simply ejecting this beast somewhere that he can't cause too much trouble. that's how crazy he is.
Recently , that same op doomsday got one punched by Superman. Basically Superman once again proves he's beyond doomsday adaptation. Yea thor hulk and doomsday better kneel down to Superman now ahahahahah.
@@mel-el5862 was real doomsday or a clone ? Because superman legit has had nightmares about doomsday and developed a perpetual fear of him on primal level as he saw doomsday as the alpha.
@@brandonspringfield2861 the same doomsday from death of superman and hunter prey. They confirm it in rebirth which is cool and then jon kent reconfirm it in dark crisis #6 when superman saves jon from a death blow and in one punch they defeated doomsday. In the 30th anniversary superman confirms doombreaker is a stronger version of doomsday. A human gets turned into a doomsday and grows 4 arms instead of 2 and instantly grows all the bones doomsday has and also gets new powers on the fly. Superman confirms that doomsday would die and auto revive immune to what killed him but doombreaker is able to constantly rise in power while fighting superman and continued growing wings, more bones, Heat vision powers and ect. Instantly adapting and growing in power superman confirmed it was something he never seen the original doomsday do. Claims it's something new. Superman actually physically overwhelms doombreaker after taking massive hits and destroys whatever source amped him and saves the guy that turned into doombreak without killing doombreaker. This means superman fought a Hulk/Broly/doomsday hybrid and still manage to physically subdue and win the battle with smarts.
@@mel-el5862 damn so that means superman is really unstoppable, doomsday still my fab comic characters of all time though dudes to bad ass for his own good. But besides that do you think milk man superman can beat rune king thor ?
Speaking of Hulk's potential infinite strength. The Beyonder(who is SUPER OP God-like cosmic entity back in the Marvel's Secret Wars in the 80s) despite he easily restrains The Hulk, when he measures the Hulk's power, he found out that his amount of power had "no finite" limit.
@@Agent-57 Yep, and in the comics DD eventually got so powerful enough in the distant future that nothing could stop him so they literally sent him to the end of time lmao...😂😂
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitive2 Yeah. Both the 80s and Jonathan Hickman's Secret Wars comics were amazing. Speaking of Hickman, he made some amazing marvel comics, like Secret Wars, Fantastic Four stories etc.
Fun fact: the meme known as Sanic makes an appearance in the fight animation, in the begining of the first shot with Doomsday in it, you can see Sanic run across the screen, if you slow down the video you'll be able to see him.
Doomsday is a monster that's practically unkillable now, it's really insane. It can also evolve and adapt during battle. At this point anytime he shows up all they can do is send it to the phantom zone cause they just can't beat him. And even then he can still escape and believe it or not, there's an even stronger version of doomsday coming to the comics called Doombreaker!
People don't understand, the stronger Doomsday's opponent is the stronger he has to become in order to kill them. And if by some chance one kills Doomsday, it only complicates the situation more because what do you do with a newly resurrected Doomsday?!! One who is impervious to damn near all attacks. Hulk is a monster no doubt. A monster with awesome feats, but fighting Doomsday, only makes it worse for him and the world that has to deal with an unrelentless, killing machine. Hulks strength only makes Doomsday evolve to become even more stronger and dangerous.
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitive2 Sadly, no, but they've acknowledged SCP as something that could potentially be on the show. The only problem they have with it is that it's hard to distinguish what's canon and what's not, since the majority of SCP stories are largely unconnected, save for a select few.
Like I said in the Hulk vs Broly video, I like Hulk vs Doomsday more than that one, the impacts in this one are more well Impactful that in Hulk vs Broly, the music used for this one was more hype and the Death is Still Oh So BRUTAL in this with and with the Last word Hulk hears is "DOOM" is just the cherry on top
Please do Thor vs Vegeta. It's one of the best Death battle in history, voice acting is off records in this one. And research of powers is very solid also.
I agree it is one of my favorites too, but I'd say they should hold off on that one at least until they get to season 3 of Dragon Ball Z Abridged cause they're still in season 2 and may be spoiled on some of Vegeta's story before they get to it
@@CyberDalek17 Spoiler It doesn't spoil anything important, I just rewatch it. It spoils that Cell and Beerus exists and that's all. And that Vegeta had a kid. Well, it's also spoils existence of God mode and Ultra ego, but that's doesn't even exist in DBZA and it's just a "Mode" Anyway. So I don't see how it would ruin their experience. Well, okay they need to see Vegeta get Super first, probably. So they better watch episode 36 before...
The next death battle that I would love for you guess to react to is dr.strange vs dr.fate, mostly because after the black Adam movie came out a lot of people have been saying that dr.fate is weak compared to other magic users when he’s actually ridiculously powerful in the comics, so is dr.strange but people already know how powerful strange is, and I would also like to clarify two things 1.The Directors of Black Adam NERFED the crap out of Fate, and 2.a lot of people have been saying that Fate is a ripoff of strange, but Fate was made in 1940 and Strange was made in 1963,like common now y’all😒.
Great reaction yeah Hulk is powerful but he don't got nothing on Doomsday lol. In the comics, it got to the point where DD got so powerful nothing could kill him since he adapted to everything, so they had to send him to the end of time lol 😂😂 Great job guys, awe Beth was thinking of us "we're the winners" haha thanks! Appreciate that, very nice! congrats to Ken for your own personal contest with these!! Hope you guys react to Shao Kahn vs M. Bison and Sonic vs Flash and Reverse Flash vs Goku Black!
Doomsday's adaptability is absolutely broken. Just to give you a sample, Superman once threw Doomsday in the phantom zone. The Phantom zone is a dimension as big as the multiverse and no physical matter can exist in that dimension. Only your consciousness. So Doomsday here adapted his consciousness to have a physical body in a place where matter doesn't exist and then he a punched the dimension apart. The only other people who did that were Superman shaking the entirety of Phantom Zone nearly destroying it. And of course Superboy Prime. Open a dictionary and search for the word over powered and you will find his name in the examples.
Both DC and Marvel have *some* dumb OP characters to be fair, but yeah eventually in the future DD got so powerful he had to be sent to the end of time literally...lol the only way to defeat him or get rid of him by that point.
Yo? Nice pfp😎. But seriously, Doomsday is op, idk how people say hulk beats him when doomsday only comes back stronger and is unable to die the way he did again. Sure hulk gets stronger as he gets more angry but I don't think strength kills doomsday. Superboy prime is also insanely op. The most op superman in comics.
@@t1g4r Exactly lol but I've noticed over time the Hulk fanboys are crazy lol they think "because he gets stronger the angrier he gets" he can = beat anyone lol but has been beat quite a few times by people no where close to the most powerful in the comics, and in the crossovers with DC, Superman beat him twice without even going all out. Superman Knocked Hulk's ass out cold lol. And we saw DD give Superman trouble killing each other 30 years ago, so yeah I totally agree. Hulk is no where near DD level. The dude literally becomes unkillable. Although with Superboy Prime he's actually one of the most powerful but not the most powerful Superman, the most powerful Superman is Silver Age Superman who was ridiculous sneezing away galaxies and nearly flying into heaven, flying back and forward in time he was stupid OP lol. Superman Prime 1 Million ie Golden nigh omnipotent Superman and Cosmic Armor Superman who saved the multiverse from the dark Monitor are also more powerful than Superboy Prime, but he's in the top 5 versions for sure.
You guys HAVE to watch Hulk vs Saitama made by Zimaut animations, he also has a Guile vs Winter Soldier animation and a King Kong vs Godzilla, they're all very good
Death Battle then: Hulk's healing factor can be overtaxed! He can only get so angry! Ripping his head off is enough to finish him! Death Battle recently (vs Broly): Yeah his head can be pulled off and his body will just walk over and reattach it.
First of all, Doomday face a fake version of Darkseid. Plus Hulk face have faster characters than Superman like Sliver Surfer. Plus they add more older feats in the Hulk vs Broly. So this is a biase Death Battle. So yeah don't always believe Death Battle.
Generally anytime there are battles between Marvel and DC characters the DC character is going to win. (If they're powered, Batman not withstanding) Even Marvel itself back in the day was like "Yup, DC heroes are more powerful." Because of how different each company tells their stories.
I think it was said best.DC has the better universe level heroes while Marvel has the better Street Level Heroes. Though I say Marvel has a bigger snd better range of memorable villians.
I’m not going to lie. If you look up any type of fight for Hulk. They always do him dirty. Even in the MCU. I knew he wasn’t going to completely kill Doomsday but man they could have chose a different fight for him. I don’t even won’t to bring up Broly vs Hulk 😒
@@chrismanning2888 yea I know. I remember around this time that this was one of the biggest arguments and than Might Raccoon did a video after that with Hulk Vs Kratos. These are just fights that I knew shouldn’t have been allowed
Whenever people compare DC characters to Marvel characters, its usually an unfair comparison DC's characters are very much overpowered Superman, Darkseid, Doomsday, Wonderwoman, Trigon, there is a reason DC made an issue called "Injustice, gods among us" (and a couple of fight games titled the same)
I don't mean to sound pushy or impatient, but are you guys gonna do Venom vs Crona any time soon? Or is that going to be saved for next October? I want to know. Sorry for any inconvenience this comment makes. I'm not hating either. You guys do great work, on both of your channels. I just want to know when you guys will get to my recommendation I made to you last month.
This is where it's really screwed up. Judging by his match with Broly, ripping Hulks head off should not kill him. Unless that fact was added between this battle and that.
I believe the point given is that Hulk can regenerate from anything, including a decapitation, but the more damage he suffers, the angrier he gets, but at some point that anger will tax the mind until it turns into apathy. The apathy would then essentially turn off The Hulk. No Hulk, no regeneration. I don't know whether that's true or not, but that was the explanation given for Hulk's lost. Not that decapitation kills Hulk.
I think it would have been an interesting fight had it taken place before Doomsday fought Supes. Being the story that brought me into comics. I knew there was no way savage hulk was beating a post supes fight Doomsday. Honestly think Professor Hulk had a better chance but know that people thought this was the intriguing match-up. To me its as predictable as Darkseid vs Thanos.
this match is one of those matches that need a round 2 as it doesnt account more current stuff about hulk like that fact that his regen is tied to hell. or the fact that since they are lumping together hulks lore for the sake of whos better, that hulk actually has a smart version which is pretty much hulk still but bruce still is holding the wheel by like 25% percent so he isnt just a brute. so ya i want them to do a round two if they make round 2's in death battles.
Well Doomsday has beaten Darkseid's weakest avatar as Darkseid wanted to test his power to recruit him into his army as he cloned Doomsday to use him as the army to take kara(Superman's) cousin away
yeah... when they mentioned that Doomsday is basically invulnerable to any damage and potential death, that should be the hint that Hulk is doomed, no pun intended.
One of the annoying truths of Death Battle, isn't actually any fault of theirs. Marvel and DC simply has too many good matchups, and in almost every case DC's ridiculously overpowered characters end up winning. Doomsday versus Hulk, Darkseid versus Thanos, and several others you haven't seen. There are serious upsets, like Spiderman Versus Batman, but usually the DC hero/villain wins. That being said, please keep checking them out. They make some of the best battles imo. For something that isn't DC or Marvel (more or less) try Starscream versus Rainbow Dash. Yes, it is a cute pony versus a fighter jet. Yes, it is very funny.
One thing to clarify the Darkseid that Doomsday pummels is just an avatar of Darkseid if true form Darkseid fought Doomsday then Darkseid would win hands down
Doomsday has probably died soo many times and fought so many strong being that hulk could not possibly do anything to him. Taking punches from so many strong beings and taking nukes just means he can't possibly die to hulk. I don't even know if he can be killed in his current comic form.
Was a very well animated Death Battle between 2 raging goliaths. Least until Hulk vs Broly came along. Good watch all the same. And here is the weekly Tekken lore reminder: m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bA49WgGOKp4.html
To those who say Doomsday is a monster, go read the World War Hulk, Heart of the Monster and the Immortal Hulk storylines. Hulk is in a league of his own.
@@zeehero7280 Agreed, although there are beings that can possibly beat him. The High father is the exact opposite side of the spectrum of him. And also the anti monitor can definitely defeat him
This matchup was just unfair doomsday can’t be killed permanently at all dude can only be contained and even then that’s a feat unto itself considering he breaks out every time more pissed than before and he has zero weaknesses!yet hulk can die and has weaknesses
Hulk should have won, death battle were wrong in their calculations aswell. Hulk has ridiculously greater feats than Doomsday and Hulk himself is connected to the most powerful being in marvel(TOAA,The one above all). Hulk will absolutely win and should have won. Heck even Dc confirmed that Hulk is indeed stronger than Doomsday.(Doomsday Clock #1). Death battle don't know much about the Hulk..
Well, to be honest, i disagree with the end result of this battle. Cause they made Hulk weaker than what he should have been in his world breaker form. Also, Hulk can heal himself, which is what you can see in almost all Hulk movies, cartoon shows and other media. So, that stabbing should be useless against world breaker Hulk. And Doomsday is not that powerful as world breaker Hulk, so my conclusion of this episode is that, they, like awlays, did Hulk dirty for the reason that only they understand. Maybe because they dislike Hulk, i don't know. Also, they could have used 3D model of Hulk from most recent Marvel's Avengers video game instead of Marvel vs Capcom 3. Because, looking at Doomsday 3D model from Injustice Gods Among Us and then seen Hulk, feels like Hulk was out of the picture. Like he doesn't match the tone of the scene. Also, for the voices of both Hulk and Doomsday they could have used some distortion effects, to make them sound like they should sound. Thus, again, another not my favorite episode, cause it was done wrong. But that is my opinion.
@@SKai2609 It would be useless against world breaker Hulk simply because, it would not be that easy to stab something like world breaker Hulk, even for Doomsday. But, since DB decided to do Hulk dirty, we got what we got. I can see that they did him dirty because, it looks like Hulk is not even trying to kill Doomsday. But if he would, Doomsday would not stand a chance.
@@deathcold_longplaysua4846 I agree 100% world breaker hulk was even portrayed weak here. He became world breaker after his fight with Sentry not during his fight. The world wouldn't have been able to contain the battle. Besides if u even consider the Sentry powers that can calm hulk down, the hulk still fought him and put him in a coma. The hulks rage is incomprehensible he is not like a human, in his savage days yeah he reverted back to banner but now he refuses banner bc banner wants to kill him. (Everlasting battle for dominance back then) physical attacks only angered him more never calmed him unless he wanted them to. (Nukes or sedatives)
@@blkshredder-x5681 Thus why, Hulk should have win. But, as i said few times already, DB did him dirty just for the sake of Doomsday been a winner. But, if they did it right, then Hulk would have won.
@@mandalore1089 There is. Superman proved it a lot, and with Hulk's ultimate rage, there is no chance for Doomsday to survive. And if Superman defeated the Doomsday after all, then Hulk can to.
