I loved the deliveries when Ghost Rider unleashed Zarathos, "You Will All Die SSSCREAMING" and of course the kill line "LOBO OF ZARNIA, YOUR SINS ARE INNUMERABLE! I AM HERE TO REAP VENGEANCE UPON YOUR SOUL!" So Cool

It wasn't that angels and demons couldn't kill Lobo, is that they don't want to deal with his shit and therefore banned him from the afterlife.

A few fun facts! As noted in the video, Lobo HAS a red lantern ring, but he probably can't used it. This is because while the red lanterrns are fueled by rage, it is a very specific kind of rage, not just anger in general; their anger is fueled by loss, despair and grief that demands someone suffer for the evil they have done. Lobo comes off as emotionally immature in a lot of ways, and he just doesn't have the kind of rage that can fuel a broken, damaged heart. It's brought up a few times here that during the events of World War Hulk, Ghost Rider fought Hulk. The circumstances bear some noting; at that time, the Green Scar (the incarnation of the Hulk seen there; powerful, intelligent and deeply embittered by betrayal from his superhero friends) had lived a happy life on the world of Sakaar and liberated its people, until the ship he was exiled on exploded and killed the world. Believing the superheroes of Earth had done this on purpose or carelessness, Hulk returned to Earth to take revenge on everyone, where Ghost Rider fought him. The penance stare didn't affect him, because Ghost Rider judged that Hulk was IN THE RIGHT and thus Earth deserved whatever Hulk dealt out. (It helps that Hulk was specifically trying to make them feel the same pain he had, rather than just blindly lashing out.) Anyway the moral of the story is that Hulk's life is endless misery and Ghost Rider specifically empathized with him.

And now you know why Ghostrider is effectively banned from Marvel movies. He's ridiculously POWERFUL by their standards.

One of the most underrated parts of this episode (at least in my opinion) is the song. That guitar solo goes unnecessarily hard.

A slight side track but within the realm; could you consider creating a reaction tribute to the late and amazing Kevin Conroy? On November 15th will be the first anniversary of his death. He was the sole reason I got into acting. I have a voice acting background and there are some preconceived notions that it's not as demanding as regular acting; but the vocal training itself and perfecting the craft may take more time than any acting school. l feel like he's a bit underrated as Batman (ditto Mark Hamill as Joker) and even non existent in the conversation when the motion pictures are brought up. PS. You almost saw me as Leon in those new Resident Evil games :)

The Next DEATH BATTLE is coming on Oct 23 which happening is on Monday. Only 2 days left, Its Gojo VS Makima (Jujutsu Kaisen VS Chainsaw Man). Both Animes Series is about Cursed Spirit & Devils which is pretty much why its happening for Halloween. And Both characters are really POPULAR recently.

I love this battle ,lobo is one of my favorite DC characters but I knew the stare was his undoing cause he knows he doing wrong,but a side note Ghost rider has tried his stare on the punisher but cause Frank saw no sin in cleaning up his streets there was no guilt orf sin to hurt him freaked Johnny tf out.

It was obvious Ghost Rider is gonna win. If Mephisto can fight GALACTUS the planet eater on equal footing, then Ghost Rider that manages to beat Mephisto is obviously even stronger. Lobo might be powerful, but he ain't cosmic level powerful like Galactus. Lobo is at most Superman level powerful, able to obliterate PLANETS. But Galactus and Mephisto managed to obliterate GALAXIES. That's the difference in their scale of power between Ghost Rider and Lobo.

The thing they seem to forget is that Lobo was essentially the OG Deadpool. Comic relief and did a bunch of tom-fuckery when when it came to 4th wall breaking. Should of given Lobo the edge and the win.

I think Lobo should've won. They made Ghost Rider wining by destroying Lobo's soul, but Lobo can survive without a soul and he doesn't care what happens to it. Like, in Lobo (1993) #22, Lobo sold his soul to the demon Neron to get a song out of his head 😂😂

I still don't have any idea how the killing blow happened. I know the animation doesn't decide the winner but since Lobo has no guilt, the stare shouldn't have worked on him at all. I still don't know how they thought that would function.

This one I very much disagree with, considering the pennant star wouldn't work on lobo considering he feels no remorse for his actions and wouldn't be affected by it since he literally went to hell and enjoyed the torture. He fought actual gods in heaven and killed 5th dimensional imps, which already put him at a level above ghost rider. He's also survived being blasted by God and hellfire from etrigan, which burns the mind, body, and soul. He even rewrote his own narrative. Lobo was definitely the winner here.
