Well it should be the exact opposite, as the story goes on each JoJo gets more and more interesting and unique in their own ways. And more human. Like Johnny for example, he isn’t some self sacrificial hero, he’s just a man who wants something. And he’s fighting for what he wants, no matter what he does to get it even kill people without hesitation. Jonathan is a great character also but he’s like a typical Shonen character. You just need to outsource your tastes because you have fallen into that Shonen/mainstream trap

@@demontiming3234 I just don't connect with those other JoJos. My favorite character in any anime is someone who literally took over the world, killed millions and was in turned killed by his best friend. I love characters that aren't the generic shonen character-when they actually make me feel connected to their goals in a meaningful way. And, for me, that worked less and less with each JoJo. To me, the other JoJos don't "get more interesting in their own ways." Like I said before, as it went on I got less and less invested in them. Every character wants something. Johnny isn't unique in that regard. Johnathan only wanted to be a gentleman, defeat Dio and save his wife, and that's what he was fighting for. Jotaro is trying to save his mom. After Dio was defeated, I lost a lot of interest because he's my favorite character, and none of the characters after stole the show for me. That's just the way I feel.

@@demontiming3234 I can say the same about the fans of later Joestars, how is a gentle sweetheart less human than progressively more punk-ish (minus Josuke who is the last time a Joestar was ever close to being a "good kid" if you will) people? This is the problem you Jonathan-bashers have, you think that if a character isnt this gray-as-hell ball of chaos, that they're boring and bland and basic. Plus, isnt Joseph more typical of a Shounen protag? I'm probably too focused on the big three, Goku, Naruto and Luffy, but arent they the standard for protags in typical Shounen, being goofy and a bit dim at times? Colorful, boastful, wild in a way? I think you guys need to understand that sometimes, simple is great, just as great, if not greater, than layers of complexity or messy morals.

​@@maxdrags3115 TL;DR - Both sides had some faulty scaling and research could of been done better. Animation and ending was good regardless however. Funny thing is, they scaled Tanjiro to about Building Level in this deathbattle. When in reality, if they were using end of series Tanjiro based on analysis statements he'd actually be closer to City Block level, outperfoming Jonathan in AP overall. Actually, there is nothing stating Jonathan even scales to Joseph, who they used for his speed statements. In fact, Jonathan doesn't even scale to light speed like they stated as he does not scale off of Joseph comparably. This deathbattle did not use See Through World or even activate Tanjiro's slayer mark, which both would of had an even bigger increase in his power in the fight. At the same time, they could of done better research for Jonathan as well rather than scaling him to every other character. Jonathan has amazing feats, some of which they missed and could of used. The ending of this deathbattle was great, even if technically speaking Jonathan WOULD in fact lose to Tanjiro. Oh, and him destroying Nezuko? Yeah, not really. If we are using end of series Tanjiro, Nezuko at the end of series scales to around Building Level like they for some reason scaled Tanjiro to in this VS Battle. So even if Jonathan, somehow by a miracle wins a fight between the both of them using PROPER FEATS, he'd be too weakened to finish the fight with Nezuko anyways. End of series Tanjiro > Jonathan > Earlier arcs of Tanjiro.

@@Sonicthehedgehog-ub2oj Oh man, intelligence does not help if you are heavily out tiered. Not that useful if you aren't technically faster, nor stronger than your opponent. You'd get blitzed. This fight matchup would of been smarter if it was Joeseph and not Jonathan, as they scaled Jonathan off of Joeseph which is incorrect. Joseph's feats are much greater than Jonathan, and it was kinda ignorant of them to scale Jonathan off of him. Plus you know, they downplayed demon slayer feats.

@@syl62 him against nezuko is kinda not going to work but against tanjiro johny would have probably won since breathing styles made a person faster but has zero effect whatsoever. meanwhile hamon has effect even on humans. but it can really vary as Jonathan could beat tanjiro but as once a famous person said "it's up to the writer who wins and who loses"

Meanwhile Wonderwoman lost to rouge , but she won 2 times against Thor and Shera. 😆 fair enough.
