I've never found DG to be political, in any form, myself..in fact I'd say politics itself is on the opposite end of DG.

They probably have a lot of the same fans (from 4chan tbh) and it seems like they’re both frustrated with the man, although they have different ideal replacements for the establishment. DG are definitely lib-left while MDE is somewhere on the right
