I try my best not to film them 98% of the time! I have realized it’s nothing something I feel comfortable doing, even though I did film them when they were younger. I appreciate that my audience is so accepting of it ❤

Your life would make for a great story just Saying hell even a movie 😅 with that being said I have been following you pre divorce and have loved watching this journey and cheering along the sidelines for you. My husband and I have been together 11 years, married for 6 and for the last 3.5 years we’ve done opposite shifts. We feel it is the best alternative. We see each other for 1 hour a day and on the weekends. We are able to communicate throughout the day through text and he calls on his break. Most importantly we communicate like crazy and our weekends are filled with intent and we never take them for granted. Hope this helps ❤
My husband and I lived apart when we were dating for over a year. We only saw each other on the weekends every other weekend. We made it work and talked to each other every night and was able to work through it and now we have been married for almost 7 years and together for 8!

This sounds like an awesome job. I am a survivor of almost being killed by drug heads. I also exposed a pedophile ring. I should maybe consider this as the next step. Thank you for the advice 😊

Thats what my 17yr old daughter wants to do. She has said she wants to do that for 2 or 3 yrs she's taking a criminal justice class that her counselor suggested because it's apparently a requirement is what they told her. So she's taking that course A+ so far and she loves the class she tells me what they are studying.
YOU did this! You put in the work. You met the goals you set for yourself along the way. You made tough choices and stuck by your decisions. I know you are proud but I want to acknowledge it in case you are not 100% sure. You should be proud!!!! You kicked ass and took names this whole way through and you deserve this. Congratulations!!! He works every other weekend! He works one week on, one week off. Im sure he would help if he was able to more. It’s a big help that he has then every other Fri-Mon! Saves me money on daycare 😁
My ex-husband worked with a nurse who also worked with the medical examiner part time. They were talking about her job and he told her that I was interested in that career field and she told him to have me come job shadow. She facilitated that but they allow people to shadow if you just call and ask. If there is a medical examiners office nearby, you can call and ask for the Director and let them know you’re interested and they should be able to set up a job shadow.
Maybe in some ways; my jurisdiction is the person and theirs is the crime scene but we both work together. We photograph the crime scene also and they photograph the decedent also so we are like 2 puzzle pieces!
Will you not get much time now with your kids? Most likely just the younger ones, right? Which that is nice. But your older daughter will barely see you now. That breaks my heart. I think it’s wonderful that you have such a great opportunity. It’s just hard for me to fathom choosing a job over time with my children.
Did you watch the whole video?? The only time she won’t see her kids is when she is working on weekends. She will have them all week. She will see her oldest daughter when she is done with school.
@@emie125 yes I did. Kids spend more time at school than home. Maybe that works for her. It wouldn’t for me. I just wonder how she feels about that. Then adding in a date here and there. I’m happy for her that she’s able to work it out with help.
My kids get up around 6 so I get up with them. My oldest is in school 8-3 so now I’ll get to pick her up everyday and take her everyday! I’ll have my time with her during all her Christmas break and her whole spring break. The only time she won’t see me is on my weekends which, she will be having a blast and I’ll still get the morning with her 6-1045 both days. She knows this schedule is temporary and she already has interest in this field. My relationship with her is important to me and if that started getting threatened, I’d leave this job in a heartbeat.
Sometimes normal isn’t what you think. I can tell you this right now- any mom who is a nurse will sacrifice time with their family. A 9-5 is not normal in the medical field. Most shifts are 7-7 or 11-11. Please don’t allow your heart to break over another moms decision for her family.
