I read that line in a book. It is one of the lines from the book that stand out to me. That book was my first introduction to the Death Korp of Krieg.

while looking german the death korp is based on ww1 european power, so their helmet are inspired by german helmet the rest of the uniform is based on french "poilus" uniform post december 1914 (the blue sky one) and if i remember correctly their gas masks are inspired by british ones

the One "Chuck Norris Rambo Guy, who can Solo entire Armies without breaking a sweat" is called Sly Marbo from the Catachan Jungle Fighters. Imagine Doomslayer and you are in the right direction...but scale it up a few times.

I see a surprising amount of people get this wrong but you don't actually say pronounce corp like corpse you actually say it like core the p in corp is silent. Good video though.

i also recommend checking out "Death Korps of Krieg" animation by Sodaz, it's great in quality and quite faithfully shows Krieg guards in action and maybe take a look at other 40k animations by Sodaz - "Siege", "Plague", "Legacy" and others, you can find them as reupload on SmokeTinyTom channel, since Sodaz himself met same fate of "success" as Astartes and other animation channels and got purged by GW

I checked out the Death Korps Of Krieg by Sodaz off video, & that purging you talked about by GW idk if that's going to come my way by watching them so I'm just being cautious. Yeah it was SmokeTinyTom they had this in the description "Edit 18/05/2021: GW Animations Announcement: www.warhammer-community.com/2... @@lunarwaslost well, you did Astartes month ago, long since it was deleted from official channel, edited by GW and published on their own bullshit network, yet all reupload (including one you watched) are still here along with all reactions they will never go after people doing review/reactions, even reuploads are unlikely to get hit considered GW already walking on the edge of actual crime (blackmailing people? not sure even their army of lawyers can just shake it off), only big animators to force them on their network

Fun fact: A lot of Krieger are today clones, or at least vat- grown. They are aqtually based on the WW1 French army, not German. Funny enough a lot of people are painting them wrong. Instead of blue, they choose grey. The reason for it isn't funny. It's to larp as WW2 Germans. It shows who you can ignore.
