@@infelicitas depends, but most metal (and rock) music only has the bass supporting the rest of the band obviously there are some great metal bassists that go beyond being just support, but it's a minority

@@Mili-bedili What Mr D, probly meant was that people in general in NYC don't really prefer metal. They probly like indie music or pop music or classical music, with their poser asses. Metal has always been an underground scene in NYC, but probably catered to a wider audience in NYC back in the 80s up to the mid 2000s. But the majority of the people of NYC meh.
