For real, I liked the movie, but this scene was just pure gold. Don't compare them, it's just not the same guys (YES I DID, BUT IT'S CALLED HUMOUR, WELCOME TO THE 2ND DEGREE TEAM).
m7md al3waje it is. Obviously otherwise they would be bragging its exactly gonna be like it and actually I loved the movie dun give a shit anyone else has to say it was funny too
Anime Light : falls amd screams then composes himself really quickly to show that he's the dominant one Netflix Light : screams and runs and falls and then screams some more and then looks as if he's gonna cry when on the floor crouching away from Ryuk. Nice one Netlfix.
1st time seeing the Anime "Rebirth" I feel in Love. I tried watching the Netflix version on couple different occasions just couldn't get into it. Hell I even went did laundry instead of watching it. And that's bad because I'm lazy!
The movie was so bad I couldn't bare the acting, the shitty music, the slowmo, the girls lisp, the fact L was black I'm not racist but he's white in the anime. If you're gonna copy an anime copy the character looks too! Mia is supposed to be blonde too. What is this seriously I'm so disappointed. L is not supposed to be an emotional spastic and Light is supposed to keep to himself and not be an emotional sensitive freak either. Ugh I can't tell you all how cringy this stupid movie was.
I was more bummed about the fact that in the movie it's his duty to give the book away.. if I remember right, in the anime he just dropped it because he was bored. wich is, muuuuuuuuuuuuch more interesting. a death god that just got bored and let people play with his toys.
Brainstorm 101 your comment is four months old but I just stumbled on this video lmao, but no ryuk acted like he did but it was actually the girl, if you watched it all the way through xD
the only thing I like about the movie is that shot of him under the desk before ryuk pulls it across the room. That bit was cool, lets be honest. The rest was laughable.
Yes, but Light is not supposed to be “most people”. His entire characterization is based around the fact that he ( and L) is not at all like the average person.
they had one chance to make it legendary and the people behind this movie really thought that this abomination would really please the mass audiences. wtf were they thinking
Well, I read in another comment that the actor of L knew how the real L acted and stuff, and learned his ways, for the movie (Apparently he also read/watched Death Note), but he was disappointed at the movies script, but went along with it anyway
Okay, haven't seen the movie yet cause I am busy with other stuff so I can't fully judge it though I heard it's bad but...to be fair...that is a hundred times more realistic reaction in the movie. And in the anime, Ryuk isn't keeping himself out of sight and fucking throwing shit around so that may be the reason why Light is so calm, and finally...seeing Light scream like a little bitch is the best.
That's not the point. This isn't about "Americans" this is about Light Yagami. As you can see in the REAL version, Light Yagami was hardly phased by seeing Ryuk, that's the type of person Light is. But the Netflix version completely shits on his character.
So many things are messed about about the Netflix one but I find it funny in deathnote they swear like 3,4 times and its mild but in this is right off the bat S*** and F*** 😂
Ok ok besides some acting and all I like the movie XD why does everyone hate it? DONT HATE PLEASE I HAVENT WATCHED THE ANIME AND IM GOING TOO DONT KILL ME
I mean, imagine a live action movie of an anime where the actors act like anime characters. It would be crigy at best with akward diolog Fuck this was suppose to be a reply to a person
Sure, they don't have to do it excactly like in the anime, but that? How can you defend that? When I saw that scene, with that screaming, with that music and all, I wasn't even sure if they tried to make a comedy scene.
Okay, I hate the Netflix film but holy fuck have you seen JAPANS live action Death Note films? Things are so fucking awful you'd think the Netflix one was the original.
The movie should be judged based on how good it isn, not how similar it is to the original, its just a different story that shares the characters and the death note with the original, not what happens.
whathefuzizthiz okay, here's my thought on Netflix death note as a stand alone movie, What I consider good: 1.Cinematography, colors and vibes 2. Ryuk and cgi 3. L's acting on the first half of the movie is pretty good What I consider shit: 1. everything else. the story, acting, the conflict, pacing, directing, and there are tons of plotholes in the movie itself. Almost all elements beside what I consider good is not bad but worse, it was horrid
