Chalino Sanchez was more gangster than 2pac ever was , and that’s coming from a pac fan.,Just being real. Chalino wrote like a poet just like 2pac but just in Spanish and saying true gangster stories. Chalino was criticized because of his voice and was told that by many record companies. That didn’t stop him , he new he had a gift to tell stories in form of corridos . After chalino rose to fame in LA, he became a target in his home town in Sinaloa. Chalino killed someone at 15 years of age and was shot multiple times and almost died in 92 at a performance in LA. I can see the comparisons but chalino was a different breed of gangster.

A corrido (drug related or not) is basically the life and death of a real life person! I grew up listening to this mans’ and his son’s music! The two theories of why he was killed have merit but many people believe it was most likely because of his involvement/performance with the wrong people! Just like Valentin Elizalde if you’re singing a corrido about an enemy’s cartel member in their territory you will be noticed, and the fact that his son, even years later dies in the same state (Sinaloa) just solidifies this theory! But of course these are theories and we will never learn the truth about their deaths! Great reaction!
Yeah he was recognized like for example the Tupac of rapp.but in Mexico the king of corridos. He was different, brought his own new style wich was a huge hit, and kept it 100..

I live near that swapmeet, that’s my local swapmeet that I go to, it’s awesome and kinda big, it has another one down the street, it looks the same but it has a different name. It’s like 2 in 1, it’s always packed on the weekends and they usually play music and people dance on the weekends but not at the moment because of covid Also, I know that it’s legally been called an unsolved murder but it was 100% the cartel, I don’t remember the name of the guy who supposedly did it, and his son was also killed by the cartel
Narco corridos sing for certain cartel groups so the death threat likely came from rival cartel members basically for singing in their territory and representing their rivals it's taken as a disrespect similar to going to the opps hood and shooting a video on their block and dissing their members
People got to stop calling this man the “Mexican Tupac “ Tupac was Tupac and chalino was chalino . Similar deaths maybe but that’s it they were both great yes but el chalino created almost a whole new genre and Tupac was woke .. both amazing but nothing alike (:
