Death of the justice league (Absolute Power) 

Ever since the aftermath of death metal, every Justice League story has just been them dying in the beginning of the story.

Honestly at this point the superhero should just quit. If Earth doesn't want superheroes then so shall it be . However, if anything happens to where you need superpowered individuals like Superman, then those superpowered individuals shouldn't come. Let Humanity rest in the bed it made.

Batman: "Welcome to my world, Leaguers!" Batman checks his bank account, is completely empty: "Oh no!"

You can also make the opposing argument that "superheroes" come about due to the sheer amount of villains that exist in general

"Amanda is not a vilan, she have nuance" proceeds to tell a history where she does zero good and exclusively evil

Another thing: Amanda Waller may say that all the crazy things that are happening are because of heroes, but she ain't going to put the the spilled milk back in the carton. Does she have a plan for the supervillains who are definitely watching this insanity? What about Darkseid and other intergalactic villains? What about all the monsters and demons? She's just gonna have plan for absolutely everything? I doubt it.

Waller is such a boring character at this point, she’s just there so you have someone to hate.

Heroes don't create villains... Villains create heroes There will always be villains... But heroes only exist if someone stands up to them. And superheroes only exist and a sleeper powered being fights back against a superpowered villain. So in actuality villainy is inevitable.... But Heroism is limited

Even though Amanda Waller had all of this security in place to take down every super powered person on Earth, its still funny that Deadshot took her down with a single business card. Its a cold world. Lol

I dislike the idea that if the heroes did go on a rampage, what would make the average Joe think its a good idea to attack them on site...like they are still super powered, that doesn't sound like a good idea.

Amanda Wallard fear is superheroes is so funny. She’s more afraid of them than villains. which have time and time again, put the entire world in danger. I’ve never heard of her trying to handle someone like Darkside, or the higher cosmic threats. Hell she doesn’t know what to do in situations with beings . like the upside down man and so on.

I still don't get some of this.. you can not make magic users forget how to use magic or people with genetically enhance bodies suddenly not have that advantage.

They're really killing every heroes because the heroes don't act like dictators subjugating the whole of humanity ? Imposing their own views of what's good and evil ? Getting rid of every single one of them, because they simply act as a shield against otherwise unstoppable forces ? They're completely nuts, not even an ounce of good thinking went into this. So dumb.

It’s kinda goofy how untouchable Amanda Waller is in comic books that have seen the death of several super powered beings and the ultimate planner Batman. They need to rename her the unlikable plot device the way she ever so easily implants explosives into people who can lift tons. The same hero’s and villains that defeat soldiers aplenty simply fall when a lady with the power of commanding soldiers enters the chat.

Who needs Darksied when you have Amanda Waller, and the power of the pen, 😂😂

Villains make heroes, not the other way around. Waller doesn’t have a point, she unnecessarily evil as always. Her character was best when she first debuted and each story makes her worse and worse

When Green arrow was talking to Batman, he said, "You supers." As if Batman wasn't human. I know he's freakin' awesome but he still doesn't have powers, or is he still considered a metahuman because of his intelligence? And the fact that he's at the absolute peak of human conditioning doesn't count to me.

So... Green Arrow says they're sick of being looked down upon to a guy that has no powers like him? And Amanda "made a deal" with all the space super heroes to not interfer with her killing off her planet's heroes? What gymastics acrobatics do we have to use to accept this as "yeah, that makes sense"? FFS just write a normal story where they fight crime. Every week it's a new "universal threat" and it's exhausting.

Green Arrow is traditionally a very moral hero. Oliver deciding to side with Waller is clearly a sign of him reaching some sort of breaking point on his part. Despite everything, given how cruel Waller’s assault and takeover is _already,_ I feel that his betrayal is finite. He’ll realize he made a mistake and perhaps why his fellow heroes seemingly worked so slowly when it came to uplifting society at first glance.

The biggest problem I have with this story is that Wallers problem with heros having to much power seems like such bs(and I doubt it’s intentional)she’s never really had any limitations on her power either and this story proves it

Y'know, Knight Terrors was a good event. It was simple, and the tie ins worked pretty well. Also, the consequences of the story didn't have a huge impact on the world, but the psychological consequences have had real impacts on the characters. For example, Green Lanterns tie-ins did a great job of showing us where Hal is at right now, while Sinestro's tie in did a great job of building towards what he was about to do. I hope they can use Knight Terrors as a template for the future. We don't need the world to end twice a year.

The entire time I’m watching this video, I’m like, “this is dumb, how are they taking their powers?“ The explanation of them using amazos, characters historically have ways of tampering with heroes powers, and turning that into fully taken them, was genius. Also noticed how Rob says things are about to get nuts, and then immediately cuss to Batman.

The 2 most horrifying phrases you can hear in the same breath are "I'm from the government, and I'm here to help." That should be everyone's clue that Waller does not have their best interest in mind.

There should be a story that says that earth of screwed because they screwed over their own heroes one where the heroes basically say they are not going to lift a finger to save them and they really don't save them, saying you wanted this now you got it no one save them.

I wish Rob would post more positive videos or at least more positive takes on super heroes lately it seems like he sides with the villains more. I hear all too often from him " If society wanted to do better, they would have by now." A statement that takes away the natural good most people try to do and twists on our own good nature villains do. Amanda is a cowardly stoking fear and using heroes good nature against them. She is a snake but this video and some of his others lately make it sound like we as society deserve it not the truth of the situation that one person is selfishly forcing their own opinion and values on others. Taking away choice and finding justification in echo chambers or selective bits of human history. Also it's not Batman's fault the criminal justice system let's the Joker go. Seriously a lot of super villains would have gotten the death penalty or life exile IRL.

There was this old story from DC where a superhero emerges in our reality and that causes his counterpart to come into being as well. The argument was that once a super hero appears, supervillians will follow. In the end that superhero realizes that and after defeating the first supervillian, he leaves Earth, or maybe our dimension. I'm not sure if it was a JLA story.

There is one hero who may not be affected by this someone from the future a hero with an interesting insight into what has happened, Brainiac 5 and his teammates the Legion to save the past and look deep into the future of what to come. Surely there's a Legion still?

In every. single. universe. I think Amanda is a bigger threat, to mankind, than even Injustice's superman. She embodies the full evil of the US government, with the hubris that it brings. Her callousness, towards all life, in DC, including regular people, alongside her lack of morals, masterful manipulation, and power, makes her a true villain and more evil, than even the darkest Gotham villain.

Hot Take: Be it directly or indirectly, in this instance Bruce’s creation Failsafe choosing to work with Waller, I’m tired of Batman being the villain of the DC universe. I know we only recently lost Alfred and we’re all still reeling, but I think Bruce should canonically, permanently die or age. His paranoia and ‘prep time’ have proven disastrous one too many times. Maybe both he and Waller, who at this point shares a similar anti-hero/villain status the same as Bruce, take each other out. And from the ashes following the definitive ends of both the original caped crusader and the Wall, Amanda’s own fail safes for what must happen following her end create or influence the inception of Terry McGinnis’ Batman Beyond. I love Bruce but between all of the Robin’s sans Damian reaching adulthood and having their own lives, loves, etc maybe it’s time. The Ex-R’s and Barbara carry the torch in Gotham whilst in the background a young Terry is growing and aging to the point he loses his parental figure. Could also have some interesting interplay between a starting out Terry and a mellowed Damian who has finally become like his father in yet another way, he’s orphaned.
