I was telling folks for years how back in 97 or 98 Master P tried to block Cashmoneys success by blocking a deal with Priority and stole their name for that movie to try and confused people outside New Orleans that the real Hotboys were affiliated with Nolimit, but in the end CASHMONEY rose above the bullcrap and left No Limit stuck in the 90s and took over the whole rap world as time would have it and Lil Wayne becoming one of the best ever.
It really a myth that No Limit fell off when Cash money got hot. Those labels was still competing. No limit fell off for good when Romeo stop sellin,which was bout 03&04 Hoody Hoo,Down for my N's,It aint my fault part 2, Silk song with Mya, wobble wobble, Snoop Bitch please with Dre & Xzibit, Snoop Lay Low and especially Choppa Style, were big hits. Plus Romeo was sellin records, Romeo sold 2million on one album. Cash Money did win longevity, but P net worth still higher than all the Cash money artist. Im thankful for both labels producing great music that last a lifetime.
