this actually reminds me of the strangled red sequel called "doors open", which in the creepypasta, it shows steven as the cause of lost silver, i think that's pretty interesting!
One detail I notice is that there's actually a pokeball next to Steven's part of the bar and that when Steven "absorbs" Missingno as an item that pokeball is grayed out as if it was a fainted pokemon.
@@goldiestar12 this is taking place in a mesh of one story where a kid rots to nothing for being overambitious who is then tormented by some floating letters and another story where another kid swam across an entire continent so he could then encounter sentient code to revive his dead pet who is also a dragon and you mean to tell me you're more concerned about the lack of a pulse for the first kid to be singing vowels
I LOVE THE DETAILSS! MissingNo as an item, the Healthbar going down as Gold gets glitched (along with the icon changing everytime), and the glitches syncing up to the parts of Gold being removed! phenomenal cover!
I love how steven has a pokeball, implieing a held item. Even better is how when he uses missingno, the pokeball turns grey, which could indicate no item.

THIS IS SO GOOD?? from the beginning with Steven just kind of staring blankly, to just how BRUTAL he slaps around gold in those later animations (especially the eye one) the accuracy to MissingNo being an item; gold’s voice initially being the frostbite one and then fading into the monochrome one... man there’s so much more but I love this cover so much!!
I have 2 Takes on why Gold is up against S!3V3N: Take 1: Gold at this point has beaten the Elite Four and is on his way to the Kanto Region, making it around the other cities and fighting the other gym leaders there. Eventually, Gold makes it all the way to Pallet Town, where the locals have vanished or are coutterlyilent about what happened before Gold's arrival. Gold eventually finds S!3V3N's Home and just before Gold can enter, S!3V3N immediately barges out of his house and attempts to strangle Gold. But Gold being stronger(I don't really need to explain why) gets away from S!3V3N's grabs and hides behind the side of S!3V3N's house. At this point, all the locals are hiding within their homes, with the sound of clicks being heard from their doors. Now it's only Gold and S!3V3N left alone and the "fight" begins. Take 2: Since this could possibly take place after the "Frostbite" Song with (Monochrome) Gold and S!3V3N, Gold, in my interpretation, most likely floated off Mt. Silver and attempted to leave S!3V3N up there by himself. However, S!3V3N didn't account for the fact that an undead trainer would come up to Mt. Silver to challenge him. Despite Gold losing(yea in my take he lost) he simply acknowledged it and went away. S!3V3N followed Gold, wondering where this undead trainer would go next, and thinking how did this random undead Trainer achieve undead immortality, thinking of ways to be able to live alongside his Miki forever. Gold in this case was going to return back to Lavender Town's graveyard using his UNOWN to carry himself back to his "resting" place. However, as Gold takes a different way to Lavender Town, going through Pallet Town, he is stopped again by S!3V3N. Gold at this point tries to ignore S!3V3N, especially his questions on why he is dead and simply roaming the regions. Gold doesn't say a word and continues moving. S!3V3N at this point has had enough and demands answers, by using "MISSINGNO" he restores Gold's original form, and Gold is taken by shock, not knowing how to feel after being dead for 7 years then suddenly revived. S!3V3N now asks his questions again, and Gold doesn't know how to respond, S!3V3N was beyond pissed then suddenly brings out his M@#$(Miki) and attacks Gold head-on. Now Gold being fully revived is unable to utilize his Unown as they only really followed his previous undead form. Gold hides behind a house wall as S!3V3N yells out, asking question after question before using MISSINGNO again to torture Gold back into his undead state after realizing he's not getting what he wants. cring backstory ngl
Take two is good except that Frostbite is actually for a different Creepypasta(understandable though since it also has the character mutilated and the story itself has aspects of Lost Silver). Other than that I do enjoy the interpretation

Decided to come up with a story (So in this timeline gold is born in gen 1 so it makes sense why gold would be here) So gold after hearing about steven becoming the pokemon champion decides to battle him unaware of mikis death. So after arriving to the pokemon tower he finds steven but something isnt right with steven so he tries to talk to him but little did gold know that this would be his death. So after trying to get steven to talk steven lashes out at gold telling him about mikis death gold feeling bad decides he should leave but as soon as he tries to leave the exit becomes blocked so gold out of pure nervousness hides but steven pulls out missingno and starts to kill gold First the eye blood then the arms,eyes and legs. Gold is then left to die as steven leaves to confront mike,Gold with a his last breath wishes for the unowns to help him. Gold is then revived but under the control of the unown sparking the beginning of lost silver
if you guys didnt notice everytime gold lost a limb like his arms his skin became more pale and pale due to him bleeding, it looks the most white when his eyes are taken off, of course the final stage is like fully white but before hes fully monochrome he was pretty pale

i think he absolutely is , with that missingno he has everything playing into his very hands . after the whole loss of his Miki , it’s safe to assume he probably wants everybody else to suffer just as much as he is . Like , if he can’t be happy then nobody else can either .
Okay, this whole video is absolutely perfect with all of the animations and the instrumental and vocals, but Steven's vocals are just incredible. Especially in the beginning.
Also if this is based around Doors Open, maybe theres a good ending for it if you land the attacks at the right time, and a bad ending for messing up all six attacks.

You said that Ethan and Gold are two different characters as shown in the manga. So who says this ISN'T actually Gold? 2. You also said in a similar reply chain that Gold is Ethan's nickname in the manga, meaning he is allowed to be called it. 3. You seem to be oblivious to the fact that this is the Lost Silver version of the character, who is actually CALLED Gold in the story. and finally 4. In the original games he was in, being the original Gold/Silver games, he WAS called Gold, he only got the name "Ethan" in HeartGold/SoulSilver. I rest my case.
IM SO UPSET THAT I'M A YEAR LATE TO SEEING THIS I NEED TO GO INSANE ABOUT HOW WELL MADE THIS IS AAAAA post writing this comment; i literally wrote like two entire paragraphs about how much i love this despite the fact that you probably wont even see it 💀💀 oh well, i had fun going feral over it the cover itself??? absolutely freaking amazing, i LOVE the way you transitioned from Ethan's voice (Blake??? idk i see both names for character like. all over the place hdbfhs) to gold's voice, its SO smooth and i LOVE it. okay now for the part that i am actually going insane about THE ART. IN THIS VIDEO. ITS SO FREAKING AMAZING. Ethan/Gold's expressions throughout the ENTIRE animation are so well done it's not even funny. i have high empathy when it comes to fictional characters, so let me just say that i could FEEL his fear through the sight of his expressions *alone!!!* the subtle details in the art and animation in general are also AMAZING. the fact that steven has a Pokéball above his healthbar that becomes gray he uses Missingno is SO freaking cool, as it's almost like he's just killed the Pokémon by becoming one with it. i love the subtle glitchiness in the music and art in the moments leading up to missingno being used, it just sells the entire scene for me!!! i also love the crossed out circle above gold's healthbar because it shows that he's completely defenseless, he has NONE of his pokémon and is left facing *this.* he is obviously terrified, and i just MMMM i love it. NOW FOR THE DETAILS I LOVED THE MOST ABOUT ETHAN BC MMMMM YOU DID SO WELL WITH HIM!!!!! the way he stops bobbing to the music after red glitches him out for the first time and causes his eyes to have the weird black fluid just gives me chills, because to me, it feels like he froze. he realized how strong steven is, that he's in extreme danger and can't do anything about it other than continue to hide. the way he jerks to the sides when his arms are glitched off and the way he looks at himself for a moment before becoming even MORE terrified of steven because he just took away his friggin ARMS... something i don't think anyone else has actually pointed out yet is that ethan gets paler the more things steven does to him. like. i dont think it happens after his eyes gain the weird fluid, but when he looks back at red after his arms are removed, his skin turns a shade lighter. it gets even lighter after his first eye is removed (which by the way. oh my GOD. gold's expression when that happens. i feel so bad for him the poor boy...), then turns completely white after he's glitched into being monochrome. LIKE. THAT IS AN INSANE DETAIL. also. GOLD'S ICON CHANGING THROUGHOUT THE SONG. THE WAY IT STARTS SWEATING AND BECOMES LESS SATURATED AFTER HIS ARMS ARE REMOVED. THE WAY ITS EYES LOOK ALMOST CLOSED AND HAVE STARTED DRIPPING AND IT BECOMES EVEN LESS SATURATED WHEN HIS EYES ARE REMOVED. i just got recommended this and holy crap, this is actually like really good your channel/covers are so unique from other covers because you actually take the time to animate the stuff and make it look playable about the animations, they are so well animated! i cackled during 2:12 , his face lmao i absolutely adore the little detail that during the transformation or whatever idk what to call it, the icon moves like that is such a cool detail new sub, great stuff man
LORE: Gold is actually Mike, in the tower, he ends up finding out Steven is reviving Miki, in an attempt to prevent Mike from knowing, Steven uses MISSINGNO. and ends up deleting Mike from the game (which kills him). And revives Miki in the process.
