Yeah right I've had chinese quads and bikes and they all fall apart under normal riding. Literally the head stocks crack off the bikes and the quads are no better. Nothing coming out of china will ever be close to the big 5, ever!. The metal is even sub par, no matter what you do to it, it will break eventually. Any yamaha or honda will handle the pounding 10x over before they break.

Put 2 350lb men on a raptor 250 and a chinese 250 and see which one breaks first. The quality of everything on a chinese quad will show. The bolts aren't even hardened properly, practically oil quenched case hardened. You get what you pay for.

You gain a little bottom end tourqe. A engine is just a air pump basically the more air it can get in and the more it can push out the better it'll run. There's a reason drag cars or any high hp car runs a very free flowing exhaust or open headers.

RDN Garage Not on a Stock engine, and the more air equals more fuel needed. He has a closed airbox, with open headers, so yes hes losing power. I own a zx6r, its runs way better and more responsive with a good flowing exhaust. Runs like shit with open header
