You forgot to crucial things, though the centrifugal supercharger, also known as a pro charger for short, and because Pro charger makes centrifugal superchargers They also have two different kinds. You have the belt drive and then you also have the gear drive and you forgot to mention the turbo chargers also have something called turbo lag some thing that the super chargers don’t have and superchargers don’t need to spool up to create more power
Gotta love people moving next to racetracks, complain about the noise and then when the track gets shut down complain about the street racing. The logic is for sure somewhere there but i can't find it. At least let every big city like new york have drag strips so people have where to race their cars. And leave laguna seca alone for fuck's sake.
I’m so burned out on LS swaps on everything. I hate them in vintage hot rods. I was working at a hot rod shop and if anyone mentioned LS swap we would say no not here. So we put in a 400sb cammed demon carb etc the usual. That dude was so glad we didn’t do LS cause he was shutting them down
idk about all that. roots superchargers we’re cool cuz they made your car have more power, twin screws are cool now because they make your car have even more power and more safely, you can’t say they’ll never be as cool as a roots simply cuz “nostalgia” when they literally beat out what made them cool to begin with
You mention the Northstar disaster at GM but other than two glaring design defects (too short head bolts and split engine seal) it was a pretty good engine for it’s time.
355 Colorado with the factory LM7. $4k truck that drives vs that project FRS with a high end parts bin thrown in it that’s overkill. My 355’s would blow boosted FRS years back. Now my 7 rib big port 4AGE in my Hatchi would blow the doors on both. Ls in an AE86 in the likes of Driftworks?
ill shout this forever. the chiron is not the fastest. it ran that speed in ONE direction only. for all that we know, it had a 50mph tailwind. it needs to be both directions like koenigsegg did.
“No other countries even come close” because most won’t chase if it could endanger civilians. But the police in the US are DRIVEN TO GENERATE PROFIT above damn near anything else!! Just take a look at the squad cars now… Making them harder and harder to spot let alone see the “police” identification information easily. So they can more easily hide to catch speeding cars or lurk around “bad areas”. Also look at the amount of money put into investigating something so horrible that just saying it out loud in a video will get you demonized. Vs the investigation resources used in financial crimes. THEIR NOT EVEN REMOTELY CLOSE!!! It’s sickening af..
More importantly. The people driving them stole them, and they don’t care if they damage them, they have no regard for human life, and they have a Twitter account together followers with. It’s a lack of respect for humanity and narcissism that feels their ego! So let’s all vote Republican and see how this all sorts out.🎉
Hooold up, first actual PRODUCTION twin charged engine was the P-47 Thunderbolt. WW2 fighter plane with a very bulky fuselage that would maintain high boost at high altitude, which other aircraft did by implementing gear shifts for their superchargers so a pilot would literally need to switch gears as they went up and down in combat.
Wait. That sub 3 second Draggy time can be had with the factory installed FP700b? I thought that would only get you in the 4s, not Audi R8/Tesla territory.
