Ride along with four members of the Deathloop dev team as they watch and react to an insanely quick speedrun of their game just two weeks after release!
Developers featured in the commentary for this reaction are Dinga Bakaba (Game Director, Arkane Lyon), Bennett Smith (Narrative Designer, Arkane Lyon), Dana Nightingale (Campaign Designer, Arkane Lyon) and Joseph Leiter (Senior Quality Assurance Tester, Bethesda Softworks).

In Deathloop, find a way to put an end to the time loop trapping mysterious island of Blackreef in an endless cycle, all while being hunted by the island's inhabitants. Deathloop was developed by Arkane Studios and was published by Bethesda Softworks and was released on PlayStation 5 and PC on September 14, 2021.

Of course QA is going to (try to) speedrun the game! - saves time - finds weird bugs & design logic flaws - have you ever done a task 4000 times and not been able to discern a way to do it faster just to save yourself from insanity?

This game was one of the best games I've played in a long time. It felt like a breath of fresh air for whatever reason. Actually sad I've beat it.... 🤞 For some dlc!!!!!

My favorite part is how interesting all the characters are, there's a ton of personality throughout the game. Even the masked NPCs are fun with their drunkenness etc.

12:40 COD used to have Tactical Insertion flairs in multiplayer that allowed you to set your respawn. The were taken out because people would team up in free for all and boost their kills until they got a nuke.

Some speedruns of games with cutscenes have them in a different language as dialogue lines are shorter, which helps get a faster time. TomatoAnus (yes that's their name) has done videos on several speedruns that have done this.

This game is awesome but it has sum massive problems: The online portion isn’t as fun as you’d think, you don’t get any in game rewards for playing as colt (have to play a online portion you might not even wanna play to get clots skins) Plus the rewards are random so u can play for hours without getting what u want.

IGN does these speedrun reactions way to early. The game has only been out for like a few weeks. It can sometimes take months to years before a route is solidified. The wr is 17 min now and they do tricks that skip a lot of cutscenes. Unfortunate they will only see week 1 strats bc IGN wants views off a newly released game

This speedrun literally has no spoilers as newcomers will have no idea what's going on. 🤣 As someone who finished the game, almost platinumed it on PS5 this barely told 2% of the story.
