the way you get the bass and descending horns to SING on this like i've never heard is incredible. This is one of my favorite songs of all time and i LOVE this mix. Heard things I was never able to pick up on before. Thank you!
😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊 And the added explanation of El.....and blending the additional vocals so seamlessly.....yeah, Groovefunkel says it, just, right. Man, you know you're awesome, right? 😉
KNOCK IT OFF! I just listened to your mix of all this love and I thought for myself “Man imagine if he did a mix on I like it” and lo and behold here it is! Thank you for this and all your other work, much appreciated!⭐️⭐️
@@groovefunkel Can’t wait!! I was wondering if the backing vocals on this song are all from El? I thought the whole family was singing background on the original version but on your mix it sounds like it’s all him.
@@its.just.me.1.2.3. Great observation. On some of the sessions, it is more obvious that the all of them are singing the BGV, but in this session, El certainly does seem more prominent. To my ears, I still hear the rest of the group singing.
Wow man you going to make these girls go crazy listen to the way you remix this song.I saw a video with chilly from tlc singing this this song at a radio station look it up on RU-vid. Once the ladies heard this remix trust me they will loss there mind singing along.
My man, you sir are on a level all by yourself, the clarity of your mixes out surpasses anything I've heard on the web... It's to bad the music industry don't hire you to remix all of their old skool songs, I think they would fly off the self
Great mix overall, Love how you eq the drums after the second time listening. Was caught off guard hearing the snappy snares, but second time listening it works for me. Also great arrangement :)
Always love your remixes, I am really impressed, you're making classics even better. I'm mostly amazed on how you play with those original stems and putting your smooth/groovy touch, without any outside effects or instruments. wonderful. 4:08 gave me groovy chills ! :)
You just made another great song even better, Groovefunkel! I just noticed that last vocal from El Debarge was from the song "Baby, Come to Me" by Patti Austin and James Ingram (Spending every dime, to keep you talking on the line, that's how it was).
