Genesis 1:27, doesn't say God created man and a woman separately. It reads, And Elohim created man in His own image: in the image of Elohim created He him; male and female created He them. So man technically was both sides, no wonder so many animals are hermaphrodite. The Pastors do preach that.

The pastor is repeating himself instead of given clear explanation to the point he is making. It looks like he is not fully prepared. What he is saying is the plain truth but his explanation is poor. What Jesus said in mark gospel answered the question raised by the pharasees. Jesus being God knew their thought concerning the question raised, so He explained it further that it's not only a writting statement for divorce but being polygamous also is not in the plan of God from the beginning, because He created MAN and WOMAN and gave woman to man. God could have created more women and gave them to Adam if that was HIS plan. But because of your stubborness that's why Moses allowed those thing to happened. So He clearly stated that "The two will come together and become one FLESH ". Talking about marriage (one man one woman) It's not three or four or five to come together and become one FLESH. What the Lord was saying is simple, go back to God's original plan, marry one WOMAN, live with her till death separate you, as Adam and Eva .🙏⚜
Question for you: it is common that in most societies there are more women who mature towards marriage than men who are emotionally and economically ready to marry these women(as you would notice women at your age are typically married to men older than those of your age). Upon that premise what do you expect the women who don't get husbands to do? Prostitute themselves? Is prostitution better than polygamy? Your explanation makes a lot of sense on condition that God has removed the hardness of heart and there are equal women and men at the same level of readiness for marriage, so this is why polygamy is not evil or a sin because it still in our day a better alternative to prostitution and we do well to not stigmatize or see people as fallen if they choose to marry more women and can care for them.

Our great exampler Jesus Christ came and demonstrated to us that one can live without married and still won't sin by SLEEPING around . Paul the Apostle also did'nt marry and did'nt sin because he did'nt chase WOMEN around. So he adviced that if you can't live alone,find your Eve or your Adam a marry. This means anyone who will chose to marry will definitely find his Eve or her Adam,because when God created Adam He created Eve for him. Forget about the notion or conception that WOMEN are more than MEN, in terms of population and believe God and His word, that every Adam will find his Eve and every Eve also will find her Adam. God is not a man that He should lie. We are living in a spiritual WORLD, that every MAN who married more than one in the Bible encounted SERIEUS problems, till this day because of sin of DISOBEDIENT. I personally think it will be difficult to be married to multiple women but I don't think there is an explicit non-contradictory evidence that the creator commands that a man should have one wife or the else they are breaking his law. Matter of fact, we see in the old testament that God sees himself as a polygamist when he relates to being married to both Israel and Judah. Do you think if this is an abomination God himself will fantasize about that and use it as a illustration of his relationship with people?
@@fsfehico that is a good point but we can't compare ourselves to God because He is more than able and He have no limitation but we have. God is God, He can take care of everything and every situation. So for our own good as human beings, married to one person is good and perfect for us. In God's own infinite wisdom, He knew from the beginning that to handle just one person is not easy, to talk about two or three or more. That's why He instituted marriage between ONE MAN, ONE WOMAN. Polygamous marriage is nothing but problems. But monogamous marriage which is ordained and blessed by God and heed and walk by the word of God recieves God's multiple blessings in their marriage. Are you saying those who have been able to do it are equal to God then? We are talking about empirical evidence based on the fact that some men are able to keep and maintain a peaceful home with multiple wives. It seems you are now on a tangent of talking about capabilities verses a law or a commandment against it. There isn't and if God himself uses that constructs and we are his children we can if we do believe and work at becoming, just as some have been able to do it. It's different capabilities for different people. There is no commandant against it. There are too many women in Ghana. Polygamy must be practiced or else most women will not get a husband to marry. This is the reason why there are so many slay queens and side chicks going after married men! They have no one to take care of them.

@@rexmensah108 I have been following avraham since he started teaching. I like his teachings but what sometimes turns me off is his anger. When he is in his element, he doesn't want to listen to anyone. All he wants to do is make his point. I don't think a debate should be a fight. It should a ground to learn, but sometimes I feel like all he wants to do is Win. At least respect the host when he tells you to calm down. No one is perfect but for someone who is enlightening us about common sense, I expect him to sometimes use that common sense and calm down and not allow his impatient and anger to show
