About you sex statement::: We have followed your ministry for 23 years and God has used the wisdom and truth of it more than any other teachers we’ve ever encountered. My concern with what you share in this video is in the realm of sex. To denigrate lovemaking to just the act of putting out for your husband When he is needy is such a diservice to the most beautiful and holy act of marriage. The way it is presented here is as if you were saying that lovemaking is all about the husband‘s needs and not about yours. This is not biblical. It is the one, most intimate act that you share with another human being. It should be the culmination of the both of you sharing the very depths of your heart with one another. I’m not saying that it can never be playful and fun and I’m not saying that you shouldn’t ever do it “just for his sake “. But God designed it to be mutually pleasurable. God designed a woman’s body to need lots of attention for her to be able to achieve the same height of pleasure that he does. That’s God‘s design. It makes a man have to focus on his wife and her needs so that she can enjoy this most beautiful act just as much as he does. And because a woman is so emotional it does force a man to have to make sure that he is caring for his wife and loving her as Christ loved the church so that when they get to the bedroom, her heart is primed and then he can take the time to prime her body as well. If men are the leaders of their wives, they should be leading in this very important area. Let’s not denigrate a woman’s body like the Muslims do, that she’s just a vessel for a man’s most animalistic pleasure. That is a travesty. If lovemaking is all about just the wife giving her husband good sex he can go anywhere and get that, and I submit to you that devaluing sex to that degree, makes him more vulnerable to looking elsewhere, not less vulnerable. But if lovemaking is as God designed and intended it to be and is all about mutual satisfaction then he’s not gonna wanna go anywhere else because he has such a heart tie to his wife and he gains pleasure by giving her pleasure. Bone of his bones, flesh of his flesh. “Even as Christ love the church so ought a man to love his wife as himself.” And if you’re not experiencing this in your marriage, God has the answer! Wives, PRAY! And be your husbands helpmeet by finding reputable, scientific resources that describe how a woman’s body works and make your needs known to your husband so that he can fulfill the word of God: “Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.”

This is so important and needed. Thank you. I am grateful to the Lord for how He has led me as a wife and mother and teaching me these things. Unfortunately my sister is following the world, even though she was raised in a Christian home; she has divorced her husband, is seeking pleasure, alcohol, men, and teaching her young sons the same. I dont even know where to start in helping her other than prayer. She will cut me off if i say these things, but it may come to that. If I were to share this, how could i help her move forward in a Godly way, even as a divorced woman? What does God want for woman who were blinded by the world and then woke up after their lives were stripped by the Enemy?

How sad that that is the role you see between man and woman according to Scripture. I found the video disappointing and disturbing and has had me lose some respect for Michael Pearl too if that is how he interprets scripture for women's role in this dispensation of grace plus nothing. The guilt put on women from this video is enormous and with all that is happening in the world today with the religion behind the riots and how they perceive women is not much different except the violence. I don't discount the need for authority roles and what God says in his word, and the differences in women and men but NEVER do I look at the responsibilities of both in the light of it being all placed on women. I could elaborate on this much further with no point. One thing it has done is made me start on a deep dive study on the subject from Genesis onwards and pull together an article on what Scripture really says.
