4:41 and this playlist with lover, it is her interpretation NOW, and when she released it, she won’t have realised that it was denial, and we don’t know the TRUE meaning of it, because we haven’t dated joe, so we don’t actually know.

The thing about the first list the denial fase is that these are songs that are either written while in that fase or are about that fase so Lover is still a love song but she wrote it when she should have seen the red flags and didn't. Second in the words of Susan Sontag: Interpretation is the revenge of the intellect upon art. So once the song is out it is your interpretation of it that is right not the original artist reasons.

it still is but the concept of that playlist (Am I Allowed To Cry?) is bargaining.. asking all the questions you can to help yourself feel better. which, i assume, taylor was constantly doing during this period of her life

The song is not out yet so we don’t know who any of the songs are about as we literally have not seen or heard the lyrics. We also know nothing about Taylor’s personal life so we couldn’t determine that anyway. Let’s focus on the music ❤️
