DEBUG MODE in Jak and Daxter Trilogy DISCOVERED! 

Yes now i can finally cheat my way thru drill platform:)

After 13 years, I can finally beat Jak 2.

It makes me so happy to see that people still are interested enough to search for these kinds of things in Jak and Daxter games. To see that the games aren't forgotten. :') (and maybe there's still much more to be found out!)

Jeez, incredible that games can be broken this late into their lives. So with Vita, instead of L3, would you hold a part of the rear-touchpad?

On jak 1, I couldn’t get past the Boulder monster cause I couldn’t find enough power cells, this is gonna help tons

Dude imagine being an npc citizen and all of a sudden a guy just comes up through the floor and just starts flying around stock arms to side.

Best thing I've ever seen.

In Jak TPL, you can cure dark ego plants easy by charging up with green eco, take out at least 1 plant, and use the debug cheat to fly your zoomer up in the air until our of bounds. The cutscene will play and you'll get the power cell.

First it was Yu-Gi-Oh! DOR that had secret codes that were hidden away for years until early last year, then people recently discovered that the Jak trilogy had a secret debug mode. What other secrets lie in games from the past that people haven't discovered yet?

Im sure theres a button sequence to reset to the beginning of the “area” you are on in the TPL. This would be perfect for practicing speedruns

I can't pass the piece of mar mission in jak 2. Am I able to use the freemode to get through all the enemies. That mission is ridiculous.

Can this be used to activate certain missions because the game locked up on the ps2 version after the yellow hell cat cruiser mission which is great because I was stuck on that for ages

Hero mode now is completable! Pretty sure drill platform was impossible in hero mode in Jak 2 (I could never beat it even with normal cheats)

Hi guys is this still available ? Alltho does it work on PS4, I finished the trilogy another time but I can't get my hands on the very last orbs that I missed, I would be pleased to have this debug mode unlocked .. xD

I cant get the code on ps4 , nothing happen . do I have to insert it in PRESS START screen or NEW GAME menu ??

Okay, so I have all the 3 games on PS2. My TPL seems to be an UK PAL version, while the other two are nordic PAL-versions. All three are original, non-platinum copies. And out of these three, I couldn't get the code to work AT ALL in Precursor Legacy. So I taped down the L3 stick from one of my controllers to make sure it wouldn't move around while pressing all the other buttons. And that's where things got strange: In both Jak 2 and Jak 3, game would clearly accept the first half of the code, both in the title screen menu as well as in pause menu. Once I'd completed the first half, I'd get audio cue that sounded nothing like the usual sound effects in those games, so I must've been on the right track. But when I'd continue to input the second half, I got nothing. Didn't matter if I pressed the buttons slowly or fast, whether I tried to input the code in two sets or just in one go... Are you supposed to release the L3 in between each section, or...? Because I think I tried that too. And again, I used the same taped down controller in Precursor legacy without even getting audio cue for the first half. The alternate code listed in that wiki didn't seem to work either...

So Platinum should be more easier :D

So I recently got free mc boot on my PS2 but I didn't realize it would wipe all my all my save files so now I gotta play this game all over again 100 percent in one sitting and than mess with debug mode lesson to be learned if your gonna get free mc boot make sure to copy all your data on to a memory card your not using for free mc boot
