I am from India . Visited Ethiopia, South Sudan, Uganda . Aftica is BEAUTIFUL RICH ! Only one thing African need to improve is harmony between different communities.
Even in 2023, these myths still exist in Europe . When I play music or a film from Uganda with beautiful people , wonderfully dressed and beautiful residences, they keep asking , is this in Africa 😮? Hmmmmm, I wonder how people who claim to be civilized also remain such ignorant
I was hoping the response to "Do you have make-up in Africa?" Was going to be "Yes it is in stores, but it is only for tourists. We are too beautiful to cover up. "
I've always wanted to visit ur village! I'm from a little village in New Zealand called Australia, you probably don't know about it tho tbh, cos we're so small.
The ignorance of the West on African issues knows no bounds. They choose to be ignorant and this ignorance is fueled by bias. Thank you for the love you have shown our beloved Africa 👍🏿👍🏿✊🏿✊🏿🖤🖤🖤🖤
Those people really think we're a bunch of gorillas jumping from tree to tree like George of the jungle, with no knowledge of the modern world and no brain to reason? I fell in love with this channel the very time I watched the first video that came my way. I like your sacastic answers, no better way to do it. 😂😂😂 "Do African women give birth?" No, we fall from heaven. Geez! 🤦🏻♀️
Loved your video..but the caption is epic🤣🤣🤣..PPL asking such questions...I really wonder how they survive without education in their country 😂😂😂....lots of love and respect from India 😍😍
You have to flip the continent upside down. That's how the ancient Greeks saw it. So they referred to Northern Egypt as Lower Egypt and Southern Egypt as Upper Egypt.
@@so9487Acutally the upper "insert the regions name" and lower "insert the regions name" method for naming areas on the upper or lower end of a river was also commonly used in Europe. it just made sense for a lot of our ancestors to name it like that.
I cannot believe there are actually people out there, presumably full grown, supposedly educated, adults, who ask these questions!? With a straight face? 🤦♂️ How can they be so willfully ignorant? I loved your responses! I don't know if I laughed more at the ignorance of the question or your reply! 🤣
bruh stereotypes should end stupid people on the internet who are asking you if you have the most basic of the basic things ever in human history glad you just made fun of them with sarcasm love from south africa/drc "how the hell is a country inside of a country" you guys say australia is a continent and a country and that makes sense
Actually when you talked about makeup you could have mentioned that it was even invented some thousand years ago in a little African village (because Africa is a country) called Egypt!😂😂😂
Local midwives in Africa are very experienced and very good at what they know how to do best. CS was first practiced in Africa long before Europeans and US invented theirs, trying it on a black woman
What a takedown of stereotypes created by the West -- and also by the East and Southeast, actually everyone living outside Africa. This girl has a fantastic sense of humour.
Please don't let them know racism is outright stupidity, allow them to continue to never truly enjoy the experience of living as a normal human being where you see no race but people, persons, like you!
Idk whether it is racism - I'm white, from Eastern Europe, and got asked some pretty similar questions when I spent a year in the US in 1990. My favourite was the guy who wondered why, if we were foreigners, we didn't speak Spanish :)
I love your videos! The straight faced sarcasm kills me 😂 I will admit and I am ashamed to say that I myself didn't have a correct view of Africa and what it's cities were like. I've watched documentaries were they show various villages and just never thought that there could be larger cities. I knew that there were beautiful waterfalls and Forrest areas but just never thought about towns and cities. I wish I could visit Africa and see and experience everything myself.... Don't know if I ever will get the chance though. I'll try. My daughters father actually comes from Camaroon and I've always thought about wanting her to see it... I promise to try 😊
Just google it! If you’re really interested there’re so many great resources online that should show the authenticity of Africa if they’re made by Africans . 😃😃😃 m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Ba1yEax__fs.html.
Tell them dear sister because some people are so ignorant. The way many of them portray our glorious continent is so ridiculous. Thank you for giving them the answers they deserve for their stupid questions.
2:03, I. Am. Dying. Laughing! I am not African and I am ashamed that people have the ignorance to make some of these inquiries! Thank you for showing the warm sarcasm in a truly humorous, clean way. You have such Class. Keep up your videos, the are precious! Laughing at your wit and thinking...🤦♀️
I've Been In Ghana For Four Years Now And Prior To Coming Here, I Would Have Probably Believed Some Of Those Myths @3:00-3:39 Or The Very Last Segment That You Speak Of! #KeepGoing #KeepSowing #KeepFlowing #KeepGrowing #KeepGlowing . #KeepEducating #KeepExposingTheLIES #KeepRevealingTheTRUTH 🤜🏿👑🤛🏿
I love you so much girl!!! Thank you for this level of intelligence, wit and humor. There are some really dumb people in the world that need enlightening. I’m from South Africa (the head village of Africa) and when we moved to Japan we were asked some really strange things (funny enough other foreigners from a certain country that’s starts with a U : like “do you have lions and giraffes roaming in your backyard?” At one point just for laughs we would say yes but then we were teachers so we had to quickly say we were joking. The audacity of some folks
I lived in Kenya. I did have Hyinna's in the 'back of my house' area. They were so loud at night. My people said. Let them be, it is when they shut up you should be worried, that means there IS a Lion nearby. BTW I lived 12hour train ride into the bush from Nairobi. ( dont tell anyone but I laughed when I saw a zebra in the ditch as road kill. In Minnesota, it is sometimes seen a dear on the side of the road as road-kill when people are driving too fast in the rural area. So I laughed because it was so relateable.)
I lived in Alaska for 15 years and often got the "do you live in igloos/is it light 24 hours a day" questions A LOT. It's funny, we kissed bees in Alaska too. What a small world(someone actually asked how I could live without a grocery store)😂.
I just came across your page. I love it!!! I love your sense of humor. It is amazing how people think Afica is not modern. I cant wait to visit, I dont know which country yet.
Im biased but come to South Africa 🇿🇦 Cape Town is beautiful, especially from around October to January. Nice weather too, pretty mild. Our hottest month only averages at like 26 degrees C. But KZN is probably the most beautiful province, i highly recommend visiting Durban, also popping toward the Zululand side and learn some Zulu history while you’re there, it’s fascinating. Weather in KZN is poeshot though jare I could barely handle it and we went in spring, felt like I was in India. But its very beautiful in a different way to the Western Cape. Very green and rainy, tropical. Joburg is kak and theres fokall to do there anyway. Apparently it’s nca in winter but i don’t see it lol. Namibia is also lovely and significantly less dangerous than my nation lol
I can share a funny story. Swami Vivekanand when went to Chicago USA, at that time we Indian were under British imperialism. European/western were many of such nonsense thought for us. Someone asked Swami Vivekanand -"we heard that there little boys are thrown before crocodiles?" Swami Vivekanand -"Yes! I was also thrown. But as I was too dark and fatty that crocodile did not touches me".😂😂😂😂 Carry on my African sister
Omg Charity your debunking videos give me life I just love it when you elaborate on the story so much to make it seem plausible and at the same time sarcastic. You need to be the n1 youtuber of all time.
Charity is such a myth-buster, especially for the ignorant who were taught ignorance concerning l’Afrique and its people…in humor!!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣Much ❤❤❤from Cameroun!!!
lol. I remember sometime back when I found out that some foreigners thought that we in the Caribbean lived in huts. it sounded so strange and funny. It's amazing the ideas people have.
All of those villages in the continent, I mean Country (silly me!) of Africa !I bet its lovely in the main village!🤗 Will jiffy peanut butter work for the face cream? Your skin is flawless and I am sure some people watching would love to try your African method!🧐
Ahh, Wakanda. Such an amazing place. I had the best time of my life there, 10/10 would recommend everyone to pay a visit! It truly is an unique, spiritual experience. Wakanda forever!!!! 🙅🏻♀️🙅🏻♀️🙅🏻♀️ 😂😂😂😂
I was introduced to your craft today. It was the "Do you have deodorant in Africa?" It made me laugh so hard. You have amazing talent at keeping your face neutral whilst giving your reply. Respectfully, Māori from Aotearoa New Zealand
Growing up, I used to get similar questions about the Philippines. Do you have cars? TV? Internet? Like no, we just play with sticks and stones and ride buffalos to school 🤣🙄
People who think these questions aren't insulting really need to grow up. It's common sense, you don't just rely all your knowledge on what someone says, even if think your question (which is woefully ignorant) isn't 'that bad'. Learn things through your own means, geez, youngsters these days lack so much independence and critical thought. Ridiculous.
Your natural beauty 🎉as well as showing us all the beautiful headdress natural and honorable jewelry around your neck and the clothing❤❤ thank you for showing us and teaching us (not me)many things that should be known and not ignorantly thougjt true😢
🤣🤣 The fact some of these explanations sound "somewhat plausible" (the makeup one was my favorite) probably trips some of these unlearned folks up 😂☠I -cannot- *don't want to* believe any education system in the world turns out people this clueless, but it has to be so, given this and many other things I've seen online. Yeesh
I was unlucky enough to be witness when the community wizard of the small village I was visiting summoned the next batch of babies. It was Absolutely horrifying, all those babies falling from the sky. Apparently they summon extra ones just in case the parents don't catch the ones they summoned.
And then the fallen babies that the parents couldn't catch, start bouncing like balloons on the ground, after bouncing for seven days and seven nights with no family to catch them due to the lack of available ropes from the back of trees, they develop wings and fly back into the sky, to do push-ups a d get ready for the next round of falls back to earth!
On the question of cars, of course there are no cars in Africa, because people can easily ride around on animals such as giraffes, lions and elephants.
I Love this! You are truly gifted. 🤩 I cannot believe the level of stupidity from some of these ppl & these questions 😮😢. Ppl please read a book, a map, hell google it. Just goes to show, the internet has NOT made ppl smarter. AI will be the end of intelligence. 😔
I love this! There are such an unjust portrayal of the African continent in our Western media, I can't help but feel offended on your behalf! I have only been to Tunisia myself but just that little trip was enough to see how amazing the architecture, environment and people were!
