I am so sad to see some of the most wonderful things going without greater views and acclaim. Debussy is a world treasure and I hope that many more people will explore this stuff, especially with great and beautiful recordings such as this. Thanks so much for posting it!

Then listen to the Jean Martinon, if you don't already know it. The Boulez is wonderful but the Martinon is so muscular and powerful- it leaves every other performance for dead.

Other than Ansermet, I can't recall any other conductor of Boulez's stature that had a background in mathematics. I would be very interested to know what they thought of each other, for obvious reasons.
