C751A&C830 doors color is white, but C830 Doors color is blue, so a little bit different. C830C different sound of a C830 Motor sound, the sound like Amsterdam Metro M5 Alstom Metropolis.
The Dynamic Route Display system is much better than the NSEWL. The current NSEWL Dynamic Route Display system looks pretty amateurish in terms of design.
Melson 1987 NSEWL is designed in-house by SMRT , which is called STARiS, while the New CCL and NEL trains are designed by ST Electronic , are called Dynamic Route Display System. NSEWL STARiS looks "Amateurish" is due to the need for showing both lines as both lines share the same train types.
DTL serves 34 stations. NEL opened in 2000-2005 (I don't know the time period) and DTL opened in 2013-2018 (or is it 2017) and my hypothesis is that DTL serves more stations and the train needs to be faster to get passengers around so the train needs to be lighter while NEL serves less stations that are quite close to each other so the train can be heavier and as convienient
Another hypothesis: NEL serves a few of the busiest stations in Singapore like Dhoby Ghaut and HarbourFront and Outram Park so many people take NEL compared to DTL serving less stations in the CBD.
Another reason is that its probably because CCL is a medium-capacity line unlike NEL. Might not be true because ot TEL's trains despite it being a medium capacity line (i think TEL's trains r also 6-carriage?) Edit: Apparently its 4-carriaged. I wonder why its designed such that its different from the normal trains on other lines. It makes me pissed as hell 😂
