With my engine rebuild complete I am finally ready to do some short test flights around the airfield. First I performed several crow-hops up and down the grass strip since the winds were light and variable, then I did 5 patterns stressing the engine to full climb power around the patch. Everything worked smoothly with no issues. Temps were in the mid-30's (1 or 2 degrees C) so it was cold and both CHT and oil temps did not get very high. Oil pressure stuck at 48 psi or so, a bit high but not terrible. All in all I am happy with the results!
