Now that I've found the problem with the oil leak I decided to install a motorcycle oil cooler to replace the coils wrapped around the intake. Much simpler to install, few places for something to go wrong, and it should work great. Another nice thing is that the new oil cooler weighs about the same or even less than the tubing, so anyone with an ultralight aircraft can rest assured they'll stay withing FAA Part 103 guidelines.
