When Nihility came out, they were top dog. It didn't last forever, but at this point in time they were untouchable; tightest act on the scene, good tunes, upped the game.
Such a short lived metal band, but their Nhility album is legendary. That album single handedly landed them as one of the greatest death metal acts of all time.
well they changed the genre a little bit so the old fans are a bit upset beacuse it does not compare to this, raw, top notch real death metal. No real death metal fan says a bad word about the 'first decapitated' they absolutely slayed. One of the best to do it imo.
Sauron had the VOICE. Covan had the PRESENCE, the ATTITUDE. With all due admiration and respect for Vogg, particularly for his resilience since that unfortunate accident, I just couldn't get to it as much after "Organic Hallucinosis".
@@Nihilism110 I could name dozens of death metal bands that are better. Incantation, Asphyx, Autopsy, Gorguts, Immolation, Undergang, Malignancy, Suffocation, Bolt Thrower, Demilich, Convulse, Demigod, Sentenced etc.
This band became the pinnacle of their genre, but the current line up unfortunately do not have the collective intellectual capacity to produce such a refined, unique sound as the original band once did. decapitated died on October 28, 2007. 😢

Dat old vitek snare sound .... the new anticult album just out, sounding fucking massive , bit more commercial in parts but i really enjoyed it , the mix is just insane
Guitarist looks like he's playing a BC Rich NJ Ironbird with a Washburn Dimebag Darrel V neck. I think that's the only common bolton neck that comes in black. But then he'd have had to have modded it with a locking nut. Looks pretty sick if I don't say so myself
+Akamaholic yeah man, what there is to realize is that the only real purpose of the headstock is to anchor one end of the strings in the tuner. Guitars without headstocks such as the ones Steinberger make kind of just flip the whole thing so the strings are anchored at the top without tuners and the tuners are set below the bridge at the bottom of the guitar. Just google steinberger guitar and you'll get the answer.
