Makes you wonder what could have come of the band. They left their mark and it was huge one. This band has been through so much. It’s really a shame to lose this lineup.
I am one of those who listens to their post-blood mantra stuff more, but I still love the old stuff too (especially three-dim and inv control). But I just can't look at them, both Adrian and Vitek, without tears. 5 years more and they could be my sons, they look so young, whole lives ahead of them and then this fucking crash happens. Goddammit dude, I can't look at them and not cry
Except this is not Covan. That's their original vocalist Sauron. Still sad to think we lost Vitek at just 23 years young and Covan is alive but at what cost?
The band with Rafael (current vocalist) is not the Decapitated we knew, when I dare to listen to a song or two these days it's disgusting, the "metal core" style vocalization messes up Decapitated's precepts with Sauron and Covan. But with Sauron immortalized on vocals, they show the world her strength, her presence and everyone in the band also made her unique. Vogg will always be unforgettable, I still see the same potency I saw before, but internalized. This current band has the same name with the same guitarist, but nothing else! Congratulations from Brazil...
