This is a short excerpt from a 16mm home movie showing some scenes of downtown Decatur. It was taken by my great grandfather Arthur Wait in late 1930 or early 1931. It starts with a shot an urban road from a car before driving past the Transfer House, then heading toward his business Wholesale Notions. Also seen is the Staley Building and rail facility. The film has been stabilized as much as possible, exposure corrected and noise reduced. Frame rate is 12.5fps.
