people say that they aren’t confirmed dead but honestly i think some of them like tingyun are most likely dead or possibly only existed a long time ago or maybe never existed at all and was just a false identity installed by phantylia upon our arrival to the xianzhou for some reason maybe to try and mislead us into an ambush the way i see it we have himeko who was dead in honkai 3rd but now she is alive but in order to have her alive in this universe sacrifices had to be made or at least 1 sacrifice so who knows maybe if himeko wasn’t around one of the various deaths would never have happened in the story cause mihoyo always likes to use these twists and turns and cause and effect things for their games

@@ILoveWomen1233Fu Xuan literally said that the Tingyun we knew was fake from the beginning, plus devs *said* that the story about her will be continued. Maybe this is why she didn't get any character development(phone texts outside of main quests and the train visitor). It will happen after we will find the real Tingyun.
I was about to say that it felt kinda weird how no one outright died in penacony… and then I remembered that there actually was a true death in the end and it made me wonder if other visitors to the express will stop coming, just like the one who passed away. Then I remembered Honkai Impact 3rd and realized that same logic could also apply to the current members of the express. Like they don’t come back with new powers, it’s just another death.

cocolia is the only one who really dies btw all the other ones like robin / firefly only died in the dream scape which as we know doesnt mean they die irl

This kinda aged like Milk, Misha and Gallagher are both gone, Both are Memory Zone memes and are not real, Once they served their purpose they both ceased to exist. I mean technically speaking they were not even alive to begin with.
@@LongDeadArtist okay, but then he returned to his normal Dang Heng form again, so at least in my opinion, that doesn't count as a death in comparison to what happened to Cocolia or Tingyun
@@LongDeadArtist Blade's sword just broke his ability to keep maintaining his Dang Heng form, nothing more. And also, the result of a rebirth is that the character comes back to life, but dead or deceased characters usually don't come back to life, which is the case for Cocolia and Tingyun.
