December 1989 was a busy month for deadheads. Some lucky deadheads saw Jerry Garcia ten times. They started with the Jerry Garcia Band at the Warfield Theater in San Francisco, the Dead at the Forum in LA, the Dead's Earthquake Benefit in Oakland, California, and of course later that month the annual ritualistic Grateful Dead three-night New Years Run in Oakland. Brian Bothun reports on the busy month of December.
