I’m excited to put my 2020 Christmas album together. I know I did it wrong. I collected all my photos got them printed at once after Christmas. Now this year I’ll scrap those while taking pictures and collecting memories and journaling this Christmas 2021. I just knew that I would get overwhelmed if I had to scrap as I go and wouldn’t even have taken pictures.
Your DD albums are always so inspiring...I absolutely love your style of telling ALL the stories of the month (not just Christmas)! It's simplistic yet creatively done! Only been doing this project for a few years, but it's my favorite!! Thanks again!!
I may just go back and complete a couple of my unfinished DD's after watching this video...I can' just fill in with stories from my Timehop...excellent
Thanks for sharing, Ali! It looks like you had a lot of fun working outside the page protectors & playing with a lot of interactive elements & textures. I can't wait to see how this year unfolds! Thanks for all your wonderful products & inspiration!
Thanks for sharing this! I got so overwhelmed last year by my own expectations and I just stopped. This has really inspired me to get back to it; I love December Daily and my previous albums… this is a great reminder that I can Choose My Own Adventure and keep it simple with prompt questions and stories vs getting caught up in trying to keep up.
Thank you! I’ve been waiting for this video because I am using the 2020 album and kit to document 2021. I get to use a year’s worth of ideas to bring my album together this year and I’m so excited!
So beautiful. This year I’m using the 2021 main kit and a few add ons. Looking forward to using your products this year. Thanks. Ps. I adore the papers this year. Love the fruit one, the plaid and the botanical s.
Thank you for sharing this - so many great ideas! Mapping out the stories I know I want to tell and waiting to see the ones that will unfold in the month. Looking forward to seeing all the inspiration!🎄
When you say “story number_, “ does the story happen on that day in December? Like story number 6 happens on the 6th of Dec. Or can it be a different date that it happened? I hope I’m making sense. I know we can do it how ever but I’m just wondering what you do. Thx
Mine are often stories from the day before or sometimes a couple of days before. For me that's partly because I often work on this first thing in the morning the following day (during my work day). People definitely approach it in a variety of ways - I think a lot depends on when you work on it.
