At around 9:10, I believe you would get a token copy of Saka-Miirym since the original sees Sakashima as a dragon on ETB. Meaning you would get three dragon token copies instead of two.

It wouldn't have changed the ending much, but when he recast his commander he would have then had 2 more tokens he missed.

I typically police Miirym really hard if I see it on the table. Especially if it's not contested by other decks. As such, I don't think I've seen it win often. It's just too strong to let live.

Wouldn't playing Sakishima as a copy of miirym trigger miirym? Since it enters as a dragon, you should get a token copy of it for three total miiryms (original, sakishima copy, and token of the sakishima). Not that it mattered here since the game ended very quickly after that!

I love my Miirym deck, my favorite play has to be (with 3-5 copies of her) Selvala’s stampede (one of the Council’s Dilemma cards) and for some reason everyone voted wild… FUN Notable Hits include Utvara Hellkite, Terror of the Peaks and Earthquake Dragon. Instant scoop lol

Sakashima comes into play as a dragon. So the original Miirym would copy Sakashima as Miirym, so you would get a third Miirym

Great game -- fun to see Miirym go off like that. Max's Araumi deck is sweet and I feel like every time I see one I want to build one. Turn 6 around 6:36 does Max draw five cards instead of four for the last Zubera trigger? I feel like he takes four and lays them out and then a fifth but maybe I'm just seeing something or misinterpreting how it works.

I do not envy Felix's position. Steal/Sacrificing Araumi made sense seeing as Max drew a ton of cards...but even then I can't help but feel Miirym might have been the better choice. It's hard to say.

at the time he couldn't immediately target miirym because she has ward 2, and because most dragons have flying its very hard to guarantee the safety of your planeswalkers

How's Atsushi been working for you? I've seen him in a lot of Mirrym decks but have never understood why it's so common. Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's a bad card, but since it's effect doesn't go off until it dies all you're getting when you clone it is a 4/4 flying trample until someone wraths or blocks it. Is it for insurance if you get hit with a boardwipe? Thanks for the video!

Good game even though I really find wizards recent obsession with negating the legendary rules limitations quite annoying. Fun I guess for those who go that route but still crap design concept in my opinion 🙄

I don't understand how Max drew 4 more cards off Zubera? Aside from the initial 6. It dies at the end and should have only drawn him 3 right?

Not only that, but he drew 5 cards at the 6:38 mark. Pretty much in total that turn he should have only drawn 9 cards.

4 zuberas died so drawing 4 cards of the last on is correct. he did miss a lot of potention carddraw by not encoring in 2nd main phase so every zubera sees every zubera die at end step.
