I know these comments are all from awhile ago y’all probably died of hart disease by now lol!!! The reason he goes slow on the way down is putting tension on the abbs and fast on the way up to reset so not only do you get tension you get a moment of rest then explosiveness back to start position!!! I swear pay attention when somebody is teaching you the right way!!!

I don't feel anything when I do this exercise it feels like I could do a milion of them. Can I try it eith weights? Is there anything I need to know about doing this exercise with weight? And another question I have is: Is it ok to come up like that or is it better if you you don't come up that hard, so the tension stays in your muscles? It just sounds logical to me and I geninuely don't know can anybody help

you need to concentrate on focusing the movement on your abs. Look up 'mind muscle connection'

You should train your abs like any other muscle, so yeah add weights
