Definitely pray for Chicago, I am from the Chicago area. It’s many lies being taught here, I’ve spoken against it on my social media and many were offended, tried to even silence me. But hey that’s expected right ?🤷🏽‍♂️ I know people that go to his church, pray that they will hear from the Lord and get out of there.

All the “Come on!” and “Uh HUHHH!!!” is depressing 😢 This is worse than garbage. But I don’t know what word to put on it. How must the Lord feel? Just read about Him being the Shepherd of His people in Ezekiel today… Thankful He didn’t leave us to hirelings like this and actually is our Shepherd (Christ: I am the Good Shepherd) and places over us men after His heart to care for his flock. My insides are dying listening to this man talk and if my heart could literally break, it would for those people in that room.

As another commenter noted, I also knew where he was headed as soon as he said he was Methodist, who are now no different that the Universalist Unitarian Church. The denomination completely 100% turned their back on God a few months ago at their last convention.

@untous7775 Yes, the Methodist church has 10,000% turned away from God completely. Any any and everything, especially all things “alphabet” related, is fine. The departure was so devastating that the African division, about 500K members, I think, immediately left them. I also knew when he said Methodist where he was headed. And, yes, you’re correct when you stated they may as well be the Universalist Unitarian Church because there is now absolutely no difference. Very sad. Take care.

It’s the way they smooth it over with calmly spoken words and say catchy things that gets people reeled in. I really pray for the BOC as a whole. Now is the time to seek God and His word more than ever so that you be not deceived. God is the same yesterday, today, and forevermore. It’s not our job to add or take away from His word to fit the times or accommodate feelings of others. The word is suppose to prick your heart so that there’s change. This latest scam/motivational speakers are taking over. We must fast and pray.

But I’m not surprised. All throughout history you’ve heard of preachers involved with the world/system or monitored by the system so they don’t preach what challenges them. But it’s better to obey God rather than men. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. No allegiance, influence, or threats should make you steer away from the truth nor promote lies to God’s people.

I also side eye people who emphasize excuses for certain sins it makes it obvious that it’s something they’re either personally effected by it or someone they know is effected by it and because they’re afraid to call it out so that person’s soul is saved or their own soul, they would rather bend the word to justify their desires.
