My mom puts the date she opens makeup and skin care on the product with a Sharpie. I've started doing the same thing.

I love declutters. To me its really interesting. I think the thing that bothers me are the comments that people make. The always popular "you have too much makeup" to RU-vidrs, shaming them that they have so much product, and also telling them what to do with the makeup they are disposing of. They have to put the disclaimers that they will donate it, toss it, etc. It's their stuff and no one should dictate what they do with it. It's their private property. People have a lot of nerve. That irks me.

it's waste and it is other people's responsibility what they do with it because it affects us all. global warming is a problem because of over consumption and products that aren't recycable

@@precooked-bacon You do realize that any sort of climate change isn't primarily caused by man. You can even check the Encyclopedia Britannica. Throwing out makeup isn't going to change the position changes of the Earth. www.britannica.com/science/climate-change. It defines climate change, first sentence, as" periodic modification of Earth’s climate brought about as a result of changes in the atmosphere as well as interactions between the atmosphere and various other geologic, chemical, biological, and geographic factors within the Earth system." So tell me why I should worry about throwing away a lipstick again?

I love these videos, but waste is bad, regardless of who owns the item. Can you imagine how it feels watching someone keep food until it goes bad then throwing it away. Well maybe you can't because you might never have gone hungry but some people have. By the way am guilty of waste as well and I try not to let it happen because it's just wrong. It's good to try to do better.

@@1TLA7 the “sheeps” response? No dear it’s the sad truth response that ppl like you apparently don’t want to believe bc it threatens your convenance. Over consumption and capitalism is causing irreversible damage and it’s truly saddening that you chose to disregard a very real threat and for what? It doesn’t matter that you choose to not believe in climate change bc the fact is that this isn’t something you believe in or not; it’s weither or not you educate yourself on the truth and facts. I can only explain it to you I can’t comprehend it for you.

Every month I declutter/clean my fridge and I do the "sniff" test as well...hahaha It is a great feeling to open a drawer and actually find what you're looking for...so satisfying! ❤️

My boyfriend does the fridge every week and every 3-4 months he'll go through the cabinets for canned goods/dry stuff. I now buy less I find.

Same here. And if I'm stressed out its my favorite way to calm down. I open a random drawer or cabinet and go through everything. Very satisfying and keeps things under tight control.

I don’t know why I like watching these declutters so much?? Probably because it’s of highend makeup that I love so much! Being able to watch you clean & put everything back in high speed was very satisfying!!! I loved that!! You should have called the series MichieMass 🤷🏻‍♀️.. or MishiMass?? Just a thought.. lol

Nice video. I love declutter videos. I started putting the date I purchased and opened my makeup on sticky dots. I then place the dot on the bottom of the container of liquid and cream products. That way I'll know when it's too old to keep or when I need to hurry and use it up.

Michelle, when can you do a full Edward Bess review? I love most of the same products you use, that’s why I love your channel but I don’t often see a lot EB reviews and I have always been intrigued by his brand, his perfect sling and dreamy hair. Maybe compare his products to other common ones regarding coverage etc

OMG this was a great video! My first declutter 🙂 it reminded me of when I go to Zillow to see houses for sale in my hometown...you get to see what houses look like that I never would see otherwise. The sheer amount of make up and products was astounding and fascinating. Honestly,if I had the space I think I would do the same thing...drawer wise. I’ve taken over allllllllll drawers in my time bathroom,and thankfully my husband is quite tolerant. Like he has a choice..LOL I like that you have people you can pass on product too as well. Michele, I must say of every video I have seen, I always love the fact your fingernails are perfectly polished. So classy 😉

Michele, can you tell me what is your favorite eyelid primer and under eye color corrector? I requested a couple of samples of the Surratt foundation. It came in a beautiful sturdy box in very nice containers but they only has about three drops of the foundation. 😭 it was barely enough to make a swipe on my cheek. Needless to say, I didn’t have enough of the product to determine a color match. Since it is one of your favorites I had really wanted to try it.

I just went through all my lipsticks and foundations. A lot of lipsticks went bye bye because they failed the sniff test.

I had the CT magic away concealer applied by a consultant and then she literally ran away - when I looked in my hand mirror it was possibly the worst I'd ever seen - no wonder she ran - I wish now i'd taken a selfie!

Do you work? And, how do you afford to buy high end makeup products if you don’t mind me asking? My wonderful x husband (thanks got for his business), he allows me to buy from Sephora from him, that’s how I build up my collection. I started six months ago and I have over 5,000 points (which I’m saving) and I have so much, even the eye palettes that I have some of them that I haven’t used, I enjoy looking at how beautiful they are and how they are packaged, I know that sounds weird, it’s like an art collection for me.
