keep the muscles pot, becoming a minimalist is supposed to help relax your mind with your surroundings, don’t stress about something if it makes you happy, keep it :) You did a great job in the videos and deserve it
@@TheAfterWorkChannel Even better-- display the muscles pot-- then it becomes functional decor. Super cute and brings you joy every time you see it, but then the few times a year when you do use it for muscles it's there for you.
It’s good that you didn’t get rid of all the cleaning products even though the cabinet was still quite full. It’s good to see someone who is going to use up The products that they purchased and not throw them away just to get rid of them.
@@TheAfterWorkChannel I bought a chef, standard food processor that can get rid of the grater altogether. it also does potato mashing, food processor, blending, bread making. worth the 2k for the 7 in 1 appliance. easy to use and clean.
I’m many months behind but your feed came up today, so regarding the plastic lids, you have the bucket for it in one of your food cabinets. Maybe you’re using another one to corral items in your bathroom or bedroom? Regarding your partially used product (e.g. your dish soap, your hair shampoo, cleaning supplies that don’t yet need to be in the cleaning cupboard, etc.). Put different brands together part dish soap into the half used dish soap;then you’ll be down to one container. But, when an item is getting low, check your “store”. Your Store will house products that you WILL need in the future, but not yet. I keep my Store in a cupboard in the hall. It’s there also where I keep gifts I have bought to give to expel later , or things that I could re-gift someone (because I’m not using it). Before you make a shopping list, double check first to see if you have it in your Store first. And try not to buy products until you are sure you have no more left AND there isn’t one in your store.
“No one cares” I do lmao I wanna know all the details because I have the exact same in depth thought processes when it comes to trying to get rid of one single item so it’s nice to see someone else who does it too. Plus it’s just interesting I’m like “hmm yeah I guess that would be harder to use with no handles 🤔idk though I might have to keep” 😂
if it takes up space, and is unused. take photo of item and put it in a decluttering box or in back of car. I have 13 items in my car which I'm still deciding what to keep. I'm planning on getting a 1bedroom apartment in future. I was going to move out before covid. but... house prices have gone up. so even rentals are unaffordable.
Just a thought to show at the end of your decluttering videos the decluttered, recycled and trash amounts. Also, curious what decision was made on the maybe item?
I went through my tupperware yesterday, I matched lids and tubs and got a permanent marker and wrote on them A, B, C etc. So now I know what lid goes with what tub. It feels soooo good 😂
Found your channel and love it! You had asked in a previous video of other declutter channels and a Hoarders heart is an AMAZING channel. She has decluttered sooooo much!
Two thoughts: (1) For the two large drawers under your cooktop, I would use the top one for food prep/storage items and the bottom one for items used on the stovetop and in the oven (saucepans, baking dishes, steamer, pizza tray). (2) It looks like you have extra shelves lying in the bottom of the cupboards. If you used them, you wouldn't have to stack your canned goods.
I get the serving bowl thing. Like usually at home everyone just uses the plastic bowls/plates the most bc we can microwave them. And actual nicer plates with designs on them don’t get used.
