well done on your de clutter, I have managed a big job a day apart from a few days when we were sick . Helped other half with the last of the cellar junk so its ready now for all the things my daughter is having when she moves out ie my dads white goods ect , Can have my front living room back then . .
I just found your channel and I love it!! It’s always so fun to see how others live. I love home keeping and gardening but I usually watch videos when I should be doing my own work😆. Sometimes, I just put on a friendly face and get a lot done in my house. I live just outside of Indianapolis, Indiana in the US. I look forward to enjoying many more of your videos. ❤️
Yay Mr. Emma 🎉 -- keep up the good work with the washing! My dad does 100% of the yard work, but he puts dried dishes & most laundry away. My husband did all of the laundry. I know your husband has different jobs he does around the house as well. With your daughter's age and increasing activities, my suggestion is to let the second job go. You will have time again to grow yourself in the future. If you feel like you need more income, then take your first job's offer of more hours. Think of it as stealing time from the other things you'd like to do, especially things that fill your bucket like reading and music. I'm interested to see where you end up moving your craft supplies. I'm wondering if you'd consider a 4 or 6 cube shelf in the corner of your dining room to hold your daughter's books and craft supplies. One of my friends and I have been doing arm workouts together. She goes to the gym a few days a week and I do exercises for the rest of my body on my own. Speaking of which, it's time to move it, move it! 🎉
Yes you are right! Although all the hours I do with the second job are done when my daughter is at school or in bed! You don't get many jobs with that sort of flexibility.... if I am honest I have not spent any of the money from the second job as I want to use it for my Italian house
I have a few things I get super attached to emotionally, have a hard time getting rid of. I try to use a journal called Throw It Away by Guru Notebooks. It helps sometimes.
Hi Emma😊 well done on your steps, ok you’re going to add a couple of days but what a motivation it’s been😊 You’ve really got this ‘gettingtidier’ bug now haven’t you😊😊😊xx
I’ve been doing good on my challenge. Walking 4 miles a day except Saturday when I did yard work all day and Sunday when I helped our uncle move all day
Hi there from Hertfordshire! Just come across your channel, looks fun ❤. Can I just say the tiles round your fireplace are gorgeous! Looking forward to your content x
Hi Emma, I'm not sure if I have already told you where I'm from? I'm in Fife in Scotland near Dunfermline but the nearest big city is Edinburgh. Take care and keep up the good work. xx
@gettingtidy2495 I'm good, a bit exhausted. Our church this week is doing Vacation Bible School/VBS for kids 4yrs old to 6th graders age 11/12 yr old from 830am to 12pm. I am a CO Leader helping and teaching the kids crafts with the daily new Bible verse on their crafts. You can look it up, it's called Pandamania, God is wild about you. My oldest is one stage with 3 other young ladies teaching the children the dance moves, my 2 others are group leaders of 1st graders and 5th/6th graders. Monday to this Friday we will be finished then 🌼🌼❤️❤️
You really are going to have to be more ruthless with the decluttering, as you seem to be chasing your tail everyday, you are a very busy Mum Emma and you and your family have too much stuff, I looked at your dining room for one second and I said out loud to myself "not again" your Daughter has a bedroom AND a playroom and your dining room and all 3 are crowded and messy, and you seem to keep a lot of not needed stuff, I know you love your trinkets in the cupboards, I also have trinkets in 2 cupboards, as mentioned put a desk in the corner and ALL your Daughters hobbies and homework to be done on there, I also only have one child, if he played in the living then went in his bedroom I'd ask him to clear the living room and told him that not every room was a playroom, of course I said it in a nice way as I love him (35 now) I'm not being cruel to you, but you are really chasing your tail lovely lady and you are going to burn out. Sent with kindness and caring. 💐
