DECLUTTERING My Candle Collection: Clutch your pearls folks!

In January, I shared my ENTIRE candle collection with you. My goal in doing so was to take inventory of what I had, as well as build in some accountability for prioritizing shopping my stash.
Every month, I plan to share with you the "state of my candle collection." I will share what candles I brought into my collection via haul or exchange, what candles I decluttered or exchanged, and the total number of candles I finishing burning. At the end of each video, we will put our math skills to the test and come up with the total number of candles I have in my collection.
I hope this video series either inspires you to do something similar. However, if you're content with the size of your collection, look at this as just fun entertainment. All products & videos mentioned can be found below.

Omg yeah i imagine doing PR would be kind of overwhelming. Sounds awesome to to get all of them for free but then at the same time probably only half or less will be something you really love and then you're house is overflowing quickly. And especially with candles you may not necessarily have chosen yourself. Pros and cons for sure. Snow bird season here too. 🙋🏻‍♀️ Im in tampa. We are overflowing with them. I just wish i could do swapsies with them! like ill take your quaint little cabin in michigan that is nice and cold and you can take my hot as hell house in Florida. Win, win, no? 🤣 I wishhhh Very cool of you to give back to your community. ❤️ Im sure that brightened a lot of people's day.

@@taylornation320 I’m always grateful for PR, but yes, too much in a short period of time can feel overwhelming. Most of our snowbirds come from Wyoming & Montana. I don’t want the wind or blizzards, but yes, you know my plight of stupid hot temps STILL going on well into Fall. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I wasn't all that surprised but I'm really pleased for you that you decluttered so much. I am a single person and I'm burning my collection like crazy while I'm in the room. I finished BBW Autumn from my collection and Kringle Scarecrow. Right now I'm burning BBW Pumpkin Carving which is fantastic and also Kringle Sleepy Hollow, both are great to burn together, very complimentary. In the TV room I'm burning Kringle It's Alive which is not a scary scent at all but has a scary label. I have so many Halloween candles to get to in my collection!! Your declutter videos are inspiring. I also love that you donate them but also share with friends at church.

Decluttering can be so hard. I have 200+ candles in my collection to burn hence burning two at a time, I was convinced from these decluttering videos to do that and it's getting smaller faster but still at a steady pace. It's hard to give away candles that I haven't burned, so, I don't do it lol. If I have a backup, I could give it away like YC's Coconut Milk, Passionfruit Kiwi Smoothie, or a medium apothecary jar of an outlet called Fresh Cotton Blossom (label has a daisy laying on top of clean folded white towels). The first two can easily go to Melanie, but she's working on her stash as well. Nice video.

I did not order one new Kringle holiday candle, which is shocking for me. And the only thing I bought from Homeworx That is the winter collection is snow angels and I ended up buying four of them because for some strange reason you know how Harry is doing a new deal every day at noon well when I did the snow angels it did one for 19 and one for $3 and I absolutely have been waiting for that one to come back I absolutely love it So I bought four and I spent $45 so I have not been buying the holiday collections or really any new ones I did try Harry's new It's some kind of bark and some kind of upside down cake but I haven't received them yet. I need to declutter but I always go in to do it and seems like I can't part with him because I am not an ambassador so the ones I buy I know I like unless it's a new one and if I don't like it I usually give it to my daughter-in-law 😊

Great video. I have to say I am not loving the Kringle PSL either 🫣 I’m not sure what to do with it and need to find someone to gift it to instead of burning out of guilt when I don’t love it. Also, I’m struggling with Skull & Sonnet…. It’s so light to my nose and can hardly smell it 😢 also… I am trying to be very intentional with my purchases as well when ordering blindly

@@Belovedbeauty-y9z I found Skull & Sonnet to be very light for the first half (annoying), but it’s picked up a lot in the second half of the burn. I just don’t have time to guilt/hate burn anymore 😂

@@ReillyWildewhat Kringle do you have? I have burned PSL a few times so it’s not a full jar. It’s definitely not cloying or sweet and more coffee forward as Katie said.
