In this video, I'll be going through the items in my jewelry collection that I don't wear often to decide which ones to keep and which ones to donate or sell.
(All pieces are either old or bought at little shops, and I’m unable to provide links to them.)

Hi, I'm Jenn! Korean-American from New York, currently living in Seoul, Korea. Brandon is my husband and you'll see him often in my vlogs :)
I LOVE beauty products, but have really sensitive skin, and my reviews are filtered through that lens. I'm also constantly experimenting with new things (whether that's product-related or lifestyle-related) and keeping it real here.

Jenn! I put clear nail polish on jewelry that my skin reacts to. even necklaces and bracelets. my skin bubbles up almost instantly when I wear "fake" jewelry.

Thanks for the tip! I've tried putting clear nail polish on earrings on the past with no luck :( I'll give it another try with my bracelet :)

Your jewelry collection is so delicate, I love it! The midi rings are really gorgeous, but I think my favs are the J.Crew statement necklaces. After my most recent jewelry declutter I realized that I really only need a few pieces for every season. And that Lilly Pulitzer and Lucky Brand both make really great quality jewelry - I highly recommend both brands!

I agree that only a few statement pieces are necessary! Too much leads to decision fatigue for me, hehe. I checked out Lucky Brand and I love some of the styles! but looks like they only sell costume jewelry, which I'm trying to stay away from because I can't get too much wear without itching 😞. I'm thinking of investing in some timeless 14K gold pieces that I can wear for many years to come, but no idea where to look other than Etsy. Do you know of any? 😉

+Jenn Rogers I've actually never bought jewelry from Etsy before! Can you wear sterling silver? Their is a brand called Dogeared with really great gold-dipped and sterling silver pieces. I wear a gold Florida state necklace made my them almost every day!

I don't like shopping on etsy in general. All of the "jewelers" (and I use that term loosely, because I think that they are mostly recovering addicts and college students ) have a poor attitude and the items are mostly overpriced for how cheap they are. I prefer a real jewelry store. You should look into only wearing noble metals on your skin if you are allergic, this is what I do because I have the same issue with costume jewelry. Cute collection nonetheless. Namaste.😊

I went through the same love of midi rings. I went through a bangle phase, too. I also purged my collection last Fall. My son's girlfriend and a neighborhood thrift store made out well. My problem is I have inherited a lot of nice family jewelry that I don't wear much. But I couldn't live with the guilt of selling it either.

It sounds like you’re allergic to nickel. You should get sterling silver with rhodium plated jewelry.

Hi Jenn! at @5:00 you showed a necklace and you mentioned that you purchased this in korea, i was wondering if you still remember the jeweller's / boutique's name? because i wonder if that particular necklace is similar if not the same as this one -mejuri.com/shop/products/lotus-necklace#thumb-1 if its not, its okay hehe, also whereabout in seoul did you go and find those jewellery boutiques? i plan to travel to korea one day and i really dig the rings that you showed here!

Loving your sweatshirt!! I've been watching his videos. So addicting! Haha I wore my earrings that I got because of you to church and a little girl said "why do you have staples in your ear". When my cuffs are too big I wear them over my sweater the rolled sleeves keeps them from falling

If you're wondering about what you could do with your jewelry I would recommend trying to donate it. A great place that accepts jewelry (even if it's broken!) is Collectibles With Causes. Collectibles With Causes uses the proceeds made off of their donors donations to benefit those in need across the nation. Not to mention you get a tax deduction as well. Even if you have some other stuff you might wanna donate visit their web site to see what else they may accept. you have a lot of nice jewelry. But because I have an allergy I can't wear it anymore that kind of jewelry. my boyfriend threw it in a bag and ditched in the garbage. He only left the gold and silver jewelry.

That is nice. I gave some to my motherinlaw. And she liked the colored earrings. The other jewelry is somewhere in the trash already. I only got one neckless what I gave my mom for her birthday. I wear it like crazy. Even at my wedding what is coming soon, I will wear some white gold earrings. Because of allergy. My dad buys them for me. And a reall pearl neckless borrowed from my old aunt.

Sounds like you need to only wear sterling silver and gold jewelry maybe stainless steel also but stay away from fake costume stuff since it makes you itch.
