the thing in northeast is that no single state is a collective one each is a collection of diefferent tribal identities , unlike north or south india that makes it difficult for any PM of India to take a very firm decision because they have to depend upon the intelligentia of local advisor now that advisor may belong to different tribe and thr dcesion wont be welcomed by a particular tribe , As for negligence yes i will admit being from rajasthan northeast has been largley leftn untouched for development and it is largly due to the above mentioned reason .Racism faced by NE folk is ver very despicable and i'll be the first to say it .But i hope and pray things normallize in Manipur NE is very integral to india not just geopolitics wise also because of the many brave soldiers who've sacrificed their lives while serving in indian army.Dont lose hope many indians like from other states have you in thoughts and prayer.

As a Meitei, Manipuri, witnessing how India casually use Manipur as collateral for its dirty geopolitical game and how the fallout of the whole not so secret tactic was handled by our Indian overlords, being part of China is starting to sound more and more attractive.
The fault line is due to long negligence by politicians of different parties and beurocrates. Some hill based bloody politicians are interested in vote bank only. Valley based politicians, even knowing the problem of illegal immigrants have no courage to raise the problem in state assembly due fear of political instability. The same thing is happening now. It is bound to happen sooner or later. The solution in Manipur is: declaration of Manipur as tribal state, implementation of of NRC and deportation of illegal immigrants, stopping if highway looting and guarding and fencing of international boarder.
