So... what if your late doing anything with your lawn? I live in Massachusetts, have some weeds but not taking over lawn, do have spots from dog and have Grubbs. Do I fertilize or use grub/ weed killer? Btw love your channel

You can mix the urea 46-0-0 and the SOP 0-0-53 in warm water and just spray it out I have a granular SOP and it mixes well in water too just takes a bit longer to break down

X Green 8-1-8 would be perfect! Low phos and high potash.

I have same issues as you. Very low on k. I use the powdered SOP. Can usually dilute .5 lbs k in 4 gallons of warm water. Mix with drywall mixing bit on your drill, well in a contractor bucket then pour in your backpack sprayer.

STX DIY (StressX) just came out. From the folks who made Carbon X. Its a specialty potassium fertilizer. 4-0-25. I plan on ordering it since my soils test shows low potassium.

50% SOP. Buy a pure SOP for wayyyy cheaper and it is a go.

My soil sample has a similar N result as yours. How do you calculate going from 1.65 ppm to the ideal range of 7-18 ppm over the course of one season with cool season grass? I was given an organic and synthetic recommendation but was only a 12-10-10 giving me just under 1 pound of N per 1,000.

Good point but low pH unlocks micros....to the point you can have micro toxicity

Dude, your entire yard is deficient. You need a good starter fert.

Adding Sulphur will further acidify your soil where pH is below target. Dolomitic lime to bring pH up and add Mg. Ca will go up too but I did not see your CEC and saturation % that are more important than absolute values for Ca Mg and K. Good video one more time. If the SOP is soluble you can try to spray it and water in.

My .02 try find local supplier looking for custom blend fertilizer ("yes you can!") like example, I use Nelson plant food here in Texas. Don't waste hard earned money something dumb. Thank you God bless🇺🇸
