you are welcome for the info. Well it looks like that the Constellation class frigates which have been authorized by Congress could replace these vessels. They can operate in both shallow and deep water. The US Navy had a bunch of Cyclone class costal vessels -which a number of them were built - but they decommissioned them and sold them off to some the US's allies in the Pacific . @@Mamotreco
