DECORAH EAGLES & EAGLETS 🐣 🐣🐣 DECORAH IOWA USA ◕ AWESOME CLOSE-UPS ◕ FEEDING HIGHLIGHTS (2018)... Today the eaglets are 9, 8, and 6 days old. At 1 to 1-1/2 weeks old the hatchling becomes a nestling and grows very fast. The thermal down will begin to emerge at 9-11 days and is much darker and woolier in texture than their natal down. There are multiple feedings throughout the day, and with the eagle nest located near a trout hatchery, there are abundant fish supplies.
